Ellis R. Stone
Thanks very much for the link and transfer. I just found him listed in the short history of Otisfield on the town website as one of the operators of the East Otisfield general store. If you've any stories that would be great.

Thanks again! BWS

Either FindaGrave is misbehaving or my computer is.

I submitted an edit request to link Ellis R. to his parents, Paul and Lydia Stone (memorials 63722741 and 63722811). Backup are the censuses from 1850-1880. 1880 in particular lists him, Caroline his wife and 3 children as living with Paul and Lydia.

There is some small difficulty with dates as his brother Elbridge's marker in Lexington, MA has a birth year of 1847 and the Maine birth record for Ellis R. has 1848.

Paul Stone is my husband's great grandfather and Elbridge S. his grandfather (long story).

Thank you for the transfer of William Wallace Marston in Buckfield Village Cemetery. I have linked him to his wife and parents and added info about his daughter.

As always, a pleasure working with you;)

Hello,
I noticed that you posted a Headstone for Joseph Cummings D. 1876 at Lakeview Cemetery Kennebec, Maine.
I was wondering if Joseph's wife, Eliza was buried
at Lakeview Cemetery as well? She died 1870, Kennebec, Maine. How would I find her record of
burial?
Thank you for your consideration

I didn't know you could request a photo until one day a just happened to see a request from someone else. After 3 trips to hillside I thought that I would see if another set of eyes could find the stone. Because of the your action I am also becoming a volunteer to pass on your good deed. Jim

John Duckworth died 1871
This is a message on behalf of my aunt concerning your photograph of John Duckworth, buried at Oak Hill Cemetry, Maine. "Thank you so much for photographing this gravestone. My husband Graeme Duckworth is a great grandson of John Duckworth, and I would like to pass on our knowledge of some of the family who migrated to Australia in 1877,and would be keen to learn more about the families left behind in America." If you have any such links we would be grateful to learn of them. Thank you.
