I grew up in Lake Victor, Burnet County, Texas, and am familiar with the local families. While I am no longer in that area, I have done family and area research since the 1960s. My families include Risinger, Barrett, Farquhar, Everett, Barnett, Winn, Short, Lastly, Keele, Oldham and many of their branches.

It is very nice to find a site like this one where something in my research might be of value to someone else. And...if I have it wrong, please let me know.

Everyone should be recognized and remembered; for who they were, and what they accomplished.

RE: Ellen Estep #115787326
Do I have the correct cemetery? Her death certificate says burial date Jan 19, 1956, City Cemetery, Saba Saba Texas, signed by I.A. Howell (Funeral Director).

Sarah Wilson headstone
I don't think this is the right headstone photo for her based on the headstone date?

I will try and figure this out.

Thank you,

Aza Lee Hollabaugh
Update: I re-read that obituary more carefully and I did see Aza Lee listed as "living" sister of Willow Jo. It says "of Georgia". Do you know if she's still living?

Thanks, Juliet

Willow Jo Hollabaugh Kelly

I found your memorial for Willow Jo Hollabaugh Kelly, Find A Grave Memorial# 65753804. Her obituary lists her parents and siblings, both survivors and deceased; however, the obituary does not list one of her siblings: Aza Lee Hollabaugh, whom I believe was born on May 13, 1924, exactly 20 years to the day after her mother, Ruby Pipkin.

In fact, Ruby Pipkin and Orville Hollabaugh's memorials do not list Aza Lee as a child either. I know that Aza Lee married a preacher named Raymond Edward Baxter sometime in the mid-1940s. Their first child, a daughter named Laura Jane Baxter was born in nearby Nolan County, Texas (Aza was from Roby) on August 1, 1947. Later they moved to Atlanta, Cass County, Texas where their second child, a son named Cary Duncan Baxter was born on 16 November 1952. And then Bradley Baxter was born in August 1955 in McLennon County, Texas.

I know that Aza and Ray divorced when the children were still young. At some point Aza lived in Savannah, Georgia, where Cary or "Stephen" graduated from High School in the early 1970s. I believe Bradley still lives in Georgia. I was told that Laura may live in California and Aza may live in Washington State.

I'm not related to this family but became friends with Stephen a few years ago. He had a falling out with his family some years ago and is no longer in contact with them. But, I was trying to see if Aza was still alive. Do you know anything about her?

Hi, I live in Globe Az. I got your request for his H.S. photo. Is his name Valdor? The picture is on the person who took the picture has passed, but he took a lot of pictures and started this website, it is not the best picture, let me know if this is him. Jacquelyn
