|I have been doing Genealogy for about 30 years off and on and about 5 years working on it daily since my children are grown and gone. My husband and I are both disabled so I have plenty of time to work on it. I have met some wonderful people on Find A Grave. |
I have worked on Ivy Green Cemetery by going out to the cemetery and taking pictures and then creating the memorials and fixing the pictures to the correct size. Most of the time I could only work for 1/2 hour after driving there so it took me a lot of time. I have no family in this area but found this might be a way to repay those individuals who took pictures and put them on the memorials of my family in other parts of the country. I am trying to go to other cemeteries as soon as I can recover my strength and energy from back surgery.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents as outlined in the FAQ answers at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?searchArg=transfering+memorials&page=listFaqs#79. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. If you are not within these generations, I will help in putting any info you have on the memorial.
I really love family history.

I'm very sorry to hear you are not feeling well. You do so much for this site and the people who use it. I hope you are feeling better soon.
I have several relatives in that cemetery and will gladly accept any you would like to transfer though I don't expect you to transfer them all.
Edwin D. Wood (45031569)
and his wife,
Phebe Jane (Potter) Wood (45031609).
Bertha (Wood) Gunderson 44700725 and her husband Sig Gunderson 44700739,
and my great grandmother
Ethel (Wood Angevine) Fels (44687237 duplicate #44700561).
Her second husband Hugo Fels (44687272) was a step great grandfather, but I have information that can be added on him also.

Thank you very much for deciding to transfer it to me. I really do appreciate it!
|Mairzy Truex||Photo Added on Winona Schutt's Memorial Page|
A few weeks ago I posted a family group photo of Winona, her husband, and other relatives. Today I posted a photo of Winona with her mother, Maude Tyler Miller, and her sister, Edith Miller Clark, when Winona and Edith were little girls. Since there is room for only three photos to be displayed on the memorial page, one of your photos is not showing. I think it is very important that both of your beautiful photos be displayed on the page. Since you are the manager of the page I cannot change the order of the photos. Please rearrange them in the order you prefer.

You are right. I typed that in error. My error. I apologize. Please delete that sentence.
