do you know which death date is the correct one, I have a picture of his military headstone mentioning the Blackhawk War and it has his death date of March 29, 1869, the headstone on this site says March 31st?

Well, hello "cousin"? I love and feel close my Fairview and Mt. Pleasant ancestors. Thanks for Jane's addition. Would love to know our relationship through Sarah. I'm descendant of Celestia, my Ggrandmother, through her daughter, Araminta. I love Find A Grave connections.

Dear Marilyn,

I am happy you are pleased with the photos. I do have some more pictures of the cemetery if you're interested, it is a pretty area. I got a good sunset photo the evening I was there. It has been helpful for me to take these pictures, so it's healing for all of us.

Take care,

Call this cemetery, I believe they will tell you that she is buried near her son but without a headstone.
All the best,

Rex Miner
Hi Marilyn,

I noticed that you had posted a photo for Rex Miner. My mother, Gene Storrs Pappas was in the car accident with Rex and Gene Marshall. Mama was the only survivor. Rex and Gene were dear friends of Mom's, in fact I think she had dated Rex in high school. I have the news articles about the accident and a photo of the car they were in in you would like copies of either. I can also tell you about the accident.
