Bio and Links
Bio Photo 7 years ago, (8/19/2008) I joined this website, and it has been great experience, especially with all the people I have come in contact with because of this sight, and because of the things I have learned about the Beloved family members here on this website. Thanks to all who have contributed to my page, and those pages of my family.

"We Belong"

Many times I've tried to tell you
Many times I've cried alone
Always I'm surprised how well you
Cut my feelings to the bone

Don't wanna leave you really
I've invested too much time
To give you up that easy
To the doubts that complicate your mind

We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder
We belong to the sound of the words
We've both fallen under

Whatever we deny or embrace
For worse or for better
We belong, we belong
We belong together

Maybe it's a sign of weakness
When I don't know what to say
Maybe I just wouldn't know
What to do with my strength anyway

Have we become a habit?
Do we distort the facts?
Now, there's no looking forward
Now, there's no turning back
When you say

We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder
We belong to the sound of the words
We've both fallen under

Whatever we deny or embrace
For worse or for better
We belong, we belong
We belong together

Close your eyes and try to sleep now
Close your eyes and try to dream
Clear your mind and do your best
To try and wash the palette clean

We can't begin to know it
How much we really care
I hear your voice inside me
I see your face everywhere
Still you say

We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder
We belong to the sound of the words
We've both fallen under

Whatever we deny or embrace
For worse or for better
We belong, we belong
We belong together

We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder
We belong to the sound of the words
We've both fallen under

Whatever we deny or embrace
For worse or for better
We belong, we belong
We belong together

We belong to the light
We belong to the thunder

Ruth Thurman
I added a picture of Ruth Thurman's final resting place but the headstone hasn't been updated as of yet. I will check back and post another photo as soon as her info has been updated on the headstone. Her remains are in the Heber City Cemetery along side her husband.
Best Wishes,
~Arlene

RE: How are you
Hi David,

I was thinking about you just a couple of weeks ago, and wondered what you have been up to. I hope you are doing well. You are absolutely right, I haven't been to your father's or wife's memorial pages in a long time, and I apologize for that. I have been on Ancestry.com working on my genealogy lately, trying to get some info for my cousin. I promised him that I would do that for him. However, I did stop in to see your father and wife and leave some flowers today. I haven't forgotten them, I've just been a little too busy I guess. I really need to spend more time with Find A Grave, and my friends here. I hope all is well with you and your family. Please take care.

A friend, Richard

Anita Freeman
Emmaline Jane Strong Freeman
Please correct the spelling of her name on find a grave.com. It is Emmaline not Emmeline as recorded in her daughter, Alice Freeman Metcalf Wells' in her journal.

RE: William David Metcalf family picture
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your beloved wife. From the memorial and your contributor page one can see how much you loved her and miss her. It is never easy to loose one so dear. You are in our thoughts. Love ya, cousin Heather
