My mother and my grandmother instilled in me a respect for family members who had passed on. That, and a love of family history led me to Find a Grave. In trying to make sure all members of my family are listed, I became interested in helping others, especially through photographs of markers. I am particularly interested in photographing and recording old and broken markers.
You are welcome to use my photos or if I have added some of your people, I will be happy to transfer them. Please let me know if corrections are needed.
transfer of Memorial# 95300426 I am sorry to have to write another message as I did not finish the other one. If you would like to transfer this memorial to me then I will do all the about intended changes and make the links.
Would it be possible for you to change the name of this person to: Sarah F. "Sallie" Dillard Bryant Homan Campbell? I know it is a mouthful. This was my great great grandmother. Her maiden name was Dillard. She married John Johnson Bryant who was killed in the Civil War. She then married my great great grandfather, John Homan who died in 1876. Her final marriage was to William R Campbell. I have made a memorial to John Homan and linked to Sarah's memorial but feel it might be confusing to some if her name does not have "Homan" in it. It is also my intentions to try to link John Johnson Bryant to her memorial.
Irby Bernard photo Lynn, thank you so much for the excellent photo of Irby's headstone! I wasn't sure he even had one. I live in Texas and will probably never make it to Mississippi so I truly appreciate your efforts on my behalf.
