Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has been an interest of mine for nearly 40 years. I became involved with Find A Grave several years back and have been entering names of my own family as well as those I find in old records, books or visits to cemeteries.

Some of the records are from the collection of a friend of mine who passed away. The records are old, they are sometimes hard to read. They have been transcribed from other records or from other peoples hand writing. In other words, there can always be mistakes. I am glad to make corrections. I am also glad to transfer memorials to family members. as long as they are not my own family.

RE: Duplicate Memorials
Thank you Joe. I try not to duplicate memorials but sometimes it happens. I have removed the dups and posted the photos. Be sure and let me know if you run across other more of my dups. Diane

George Walls and family
Good Morning, I see you have photos of George, Jacob and Nathan Walls. May I use them on my family tree? The parents of Ellen Sandage, their mother, were Thomas Sandage and Margaret Lasher. Perhaps we are "kin"? Thanks. Pat Meadows.

Caroline Kelly Tait
Kelly-Stripling Cemetery, GA
Just wondering if this cemetery really exists and if there are headstones there or did you pull this stuff out of a book? Are you a Kelly descendant? Do you have headstone photos?

Michelle Kidd-Johnson
Holland Cemetery
Hello Arkansas Kin,

I was wondering if you live close to this cemetery? If so could you check the records for me to see if William H. "Ike" McDaniel is buried there. He died between 1875 & 1880. His brother Stephen is buried at this cemetery died in 1879 from the fever and I wonder if William may have died around the same year from the same thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James A. Leonard 128297244
Thank you for posting the picture of Jim Leonard. He is my grandfather and I had not seen a picture of him as an older man, only one from about 1917 that I will post to Find A Grave soon. He was very handsome. Yes?

Barry Uptain
Smith family
Humphrey Smith had a brother Samuel Freeman Smith. He is my gg-grandfather. He died of scarlet fever in April 1873 three months before his daughter, my great grandmother Arminda Jane Smith Uptain was born. His wife Margaret Manerva Kidd Smith also had scarlet fever and as a result Arminda was born def. She was also mute and spoke threw sign language. She had 13 children and raised 11 to adulthood. I have one photo of Freeman and other than census records my family knows very little about his family. We don't even know where he is buried other than Randolph or Cleburne county Alabama. It is great to find living descendants of my Smith line. would love to share photos and info. My grandfather, Arminda's youngest son Harvey Uptain searched for information about his grandfather his whole life. A few years ago he died at age 91. Every time I saw him up until 3 weeks before he died he would ask me "Have you found out anything about Mommie's people" How awesome is find a grave! ... Barry Uptain
