History and Mystery which I am resolved to solve is what makes me a Find A Grave member. Finding lost family members is the force that drives me. |
I am not like many on Find A Grave who believe that mine and your loved ones are no more than names on stone. Their DNA runs through our bodies with each breath we draw and with every beat of our hearts. We are part of them and they are most certainly part of us!
In my quest to solve these families mystery, if I have posted your family member I will honor Find A Grave Family First Policy and I will go beyond this because it is not about me collecting your family like baseball cards. Show me your family connection and I will transfer them to you.
The family lines I most often search are Stewart, Ross, Fryer, King, Sanders, Jones, Apple, Fields, Scheets, Grant, Hulsey, Arrington,Perry. But when visiting a cemetery, I try to photograph the entire cemetery and place the pictures on Find A Grave if needed.

Computer froze sorry
My number is (#47401656).
If you could transfer Joab and his father Kindle Isaac Huffman that would be great.

I can't thank you enough for you honoring my relative this way. My gosh, in doing my genealogy and finding who I am and where I come from, this is the remembrance that has brought me to tears.
I cant even begin to imagine all that he saw and did. Again, thank you so very much.

David, Thanks for the info and pictures. I have passed the info on to John Nash, my wife's colleague. Dick Belle
Hello, I'm trying to get a photo of the grave of Nimrod Nash (your memorial), Find A Grave Memorial# 101840376. Can you verify that he is indeed interred at Gettysburg, and whether a marker exists? I have a photo request in, but so far no takers. I'm interested because a college of my wife's (also named Nash) is a distant relative, and was asking how to get a photo. Thanks, Dick Belle
I greatly appreciate your time & effort in trying to fulfill my photo request for Ida Smith. Thanks!

Your quite welcome. I am working the Azleland cemetery and when I add photos to the memorials I check for obits in the process. They are handy for people researching the different individuals.

Hello! You've posted a photo of the headstone for "Ella Williams (1875-1938)" on the memorial for "Ella Williams Hoover (1868-1939)" at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Texas. The names of both of these women appear in an on-line index of individuals buried at this cemetery.
I don't believe anyone has created a memorial for the Ella whose headstone photo you took. The index has her grave site as Block A, Lot 18.
(distant relation of Ella Williams Hoover)
