Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been involved in cemetery research since 2004, concentrating on old sites in Claiborne County, Mississippi. I love the peace and solitude that comes with surveying an old site and "discovering" whose name will be on the next stone. My goal is to put together a historical and geographical sketch of Claiborne County, based on cemetery locations, 1800's marriage records and will records. I get a thrill out of being able to put people in touch with their long-lost ancestors. I will always be happy to transfer any memorials to their relatives or other loved ones. And despite my e-mail address, I do NOT dig up bones!

Briggs in Wintergreen Cemetery
Thank you for creating memorials for children of W. F. and E. L. Briggs. E. L. Briggs was a sister to my great grandfather. It's great to find and link her children to her. Maybe you'll come across her husband, William F. Briggs, born about 1816 and died before 1870. Your finds are treasures to me.

RE: Edward Berner

You're very welcome. I am always glad to be of help.

I did request a link to his parents who are also buried at Greenwood, as well as the complete date of birth and death.

Nannie Barrett Lum Butler

Thanks for the correction on Nannie Butler's burial location. We had always thought that she was in Rocky Springs, so it's a bit of a surprise to find her in Sharkey County.

I've deleted the entry for her in Rocky Springs and uploaded the photo to the correct listing in Sharkey County. It should be good to go.

Have a good weekend,
