RE: Old Lot - Perkins Cemetery
Good. I'm glad you were able to figure out where I was talking about. Mr. Perkins was very helpful to me and my daughter. We were able to locate the grave of my 2nd great grand uncle, James Trammell up there. He was in the civil war. Have a great trip.

RE: Old Lot - Perkins Cemetery
Hi Betty, I have only been to the cemetery a couple of times as I live in Michigan. I can drive right to it but giving directions might be a little iffy. I'll do my best. The cemetery is on Mud Lick Road near the mouth of Skaggs Branch Rd. if I remember right. You can't see it from the road. It is on the north (left) side of Mud Lick Rd. It is marked with a small street sign that says something like, Old Perkins-Lot Cemetery. You must pull into the driveway of a home near the road and situated on the hill. Park in his driveway and from there you will have to hike up a gravel drive to the cemetery. When I was there it was very over grown and snakey so be careful. Also as you may or may not know July is prime time for ticks and chiggers. If you go as far as the Lot Cemetery on the left with its two cement block columns you have gone too far. Check it out though. You may find some relatives buried there. I hope this helps. Good luck and have a safe trip. ....Steve
