I've been researching my ancestors for more than 15 years and have made remarkable progress partly due to sites like Find A Grave and the people that so generously offer their time to help complete strangers. From my own experience I know it can sometimes take a lot of time to find the stones, especially the old ones and taking a good picture can be quite a challenge. So for those that dedicate their time to taking photos I greatly appreciate their effort. I enjoy hearing back from the people requesting photos. It makes it seem all the more worthwhile when I know I have helped them with a little piece of their puzzle.|
Most of the memorials I have created are not my ancestors so I'm more than happy to transfer memorial ownership if you have a connection. I try to add as much information as I can regarding their dates and places of birth and death but I do make mistakes. I'll gladly make corrections or add additional information so long as you have documentation to verify your request.
Anyone may use my photos for their own personal family genealogy. I would also be happy to email high resolution photos if they are your descendants. Photo credit would be appreciated.
I would also like to thank my wife for the many hours she has spent helping me find gravestones and so research.
Our descendants include some of the following:
Andrews, Dickerman, DeFlorio, Buchanan, O'Neil, Dodge, Medland, Herwig, Ringquist, Weckesser, Boyce, Adams, Minor (Miner) and Farr.

Great Photo..as always much appreciated... I am a little puzzled however... her father was Samuel Flint, and she married a Samuel Flint, what are the chances of that?... I didn't have her husband's name looks like I need to do some more research..

|SR Folkerts Anderson||RE: Harriet Tucker|
I changed the order of the photos. I also added a note to the photo, I submitted, that she died in Indiana and was buried in Minnesota.
Let me know if I've missed anything.

I rec'd an edit request from you on the death/burial of H. Tucker.
She is buried in Marshall MN. The picture you submitted is of a monument erected by her daughter in her memory, not the actual burial.
I believe the info I entered is correct according to Diana, as well.
Let me know if this works for you.

It looks perfect. We are still missing a daughter who died in MN, that daughter's husband and their kids. And, Robert just turned over to me Norman and Alice (Tucker) Cleaveland's findagraves so that I can link everyone together. Hopefully, there will be photos taken on Sat. of the rest of the family's monuments in Marshall Cemetery. So, one of us, either you or the volunteer there or I will need to link all of my friend's relatives together. I've been doing this genealogy since last Aug. Please advise what your preferences are.
With appreciation! I'm not positive, but think that the volunteer was planning on putting the other sister on when she has taken the pix.

Find A Grave Memorial# 32641009
In the email that I just sent, I forgot to tell you that Alice (Herrick)Tucker was the daughter of Pvt. Israel Herrick and his wife, Ruth (Tracy) Herrick.
As stated in the email, and proof included, Alice was born in Granby, Hampshire Co., MA. I don't think that her parents are on findagrave. But, it would be nice if you could add her parents' names.
Israel Herrick b. 3 Jul 1750 Preston, New London, CT; d. 5 Oct 1837 Le Roy, Genesee Co., NY.
Ruth (Tracy) Herrick b.1750 in Norwich, New London, CT; d. 4 Jan 1840, of Le Roy, Genesee Co., NY
Thank you for filling our requests. We appreciate it.
Thank you so much for posting a photo of her marker. Your work as a photo volunteer is appreciated.

I am descended from Zephaniah and Mary's son Thomas Jefferson Savory English. It is interesting that Thomas got a middle name from his step grandfather - the husband of Freedom Strong English Savory who started this conversation.
Thomas moved to Indiana from Vermont. So my direct Vermont line ends with Thomas.
|Patsy Caron||Thank you|
