Bio and Links
Bio Photo My fiance (# 47319474)and I try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.I am the one who puts the majority of the photos up, and he is the one who can decipher the older ( hard to read) stones. We work well together :)

Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.

Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.

I no longer will do edits when there is no contact info. I have had too many questionable edits sent, plops in cemeteries that would encompass my memorials if I accept, and links that are assumed, but not verified.

Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.

I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:)

Moved my pic over to other memorial and deleted mine. I had to get a lot of memorials switched from Buechtel Cemetery to St Patricks so that's how the duplicate was made. Thanks for the reminder to check on these.

RE: Ballou Brown
Thanks for your reply. Ballou & Rhoba (Mason) Brown are my 3x g-grandparents. Ballou was the son of Ichabod & Hannah (Ballou) Brown as you have also indicated in your posting. I am interested as to where you found the RI cemetery listing and also note that you have a note "researching." Are you related? If so, or if you want more info I'll be happy to share.

Lydia White
Hello,

I noticed that you have the memorial of Lydia White.

I have a Lydia Flagg who married an Alexander White and they had a daughter named Lydia White, born 1798 and who passed away in 1829 but I do not have any marriage information for her and I wonder if your memorial is the daughter I am looking for?

Okay, I guess I get it regarding the cenotaph. Too bad the dates are different. I'll make note of this in my tree. Sorry to bother you. You don't want to add his wife's maiden name of Brown? Name: Benjamin C Eddy
Marriage Date: 20 Jul 1817
Marriage Place: Rhode Island, USA
Spouse Name: Sarah Brown
Page Number: 416

RE: Leo
Hi Scout,
I was able to find burial records for Leo and his brother Lewis (Louis) via GenWeb in Resurrection Cemetery in Kent County, MI. I added them and their spouses to Find a Grave and connected them to their parents in St. Stan's Cemetery. Thanks, Mary

RE: Bliss Lot Lost
I agree with you. Most of my Rhode Island Plantations and Massachusetts Bay Colony ancestors are buried in cemeteries that he and you have found and documented with records, photos, and transcriptions when possible. I am so grateful that you have provided all of us with burial records and appreciate your maintenance of his memorials. Thank you.

Bliss Lot Lost
A suggestion or information only
I believe the Bliss Lot is still lost after looking at the development of Bliss Road on Google maps.
The Narragansett Historical Register. James N. Arnold, Editor. A description on page 299, Volume III. 1884-85. "They [John Vars and his wife Martha (Saunders) Vars] were buried in the Bliss burial place, about one-half mile west of the hill [Honeyman's Hill], in the valley west of the stream, and north of the Bliss road, where also were buried two of their daughters, Fanny and Martha, and Martha's husband, Capt. Asa Brooks."
RIGR 7:2:134 John Vars is the son of Theodaty Vars & Martha Dodge
Old Tobe: Some Lines of Descent of Tobias Saunders of Westerly, Rhode Island Compiled by Earl P. Crandall, Catskill, New York 1995 pp.11, 12. Note p. 12. However, in his [Nelson Byron VARS] "Saunders Family" manuscripts, finalized in 1902, he lists Martha as a daughter of Stephen SAUNDERS.
Old Tobe Foreword: The most extensive work on the Saunders family had been done by Nelson Byron Vars (6 May 1831 - 27 Mar 1914), son of Isaac Vars and Hannah Saunders, of Westerly & East Greenwich, Rhode Island. He had compiled a great deal of information on both his father's and his mother's families.
