I live in Middletown Springs, Rutland County, Vermont. I work mostly on cemeteries in Rutland County and neighboring Washington County, NY. I'll try to fill photo requests in those areas.
If you are related to any of my memorials I'll be glad to transfer management outside Find-A-Grave guidelines unless it is a relative of mine or is in a family that I am actively researching. Please send transfer requests through the Edit tab on each memorial.
If you would like to see my sources for any corrections I suggest, please just ask. I research every fact I submit and only suggest those corrections that I believe come from a reliable source.
Some of the families I'm researching, primarily in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, are Brown, Horton, Fisher, Fielding, Gilson, Ripley, Hawkins, Treadwell, Jennings and Northrup. I'm also researching Arsenault and Brideau in Massachusetts, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
Col Alexander Greig #120721993 Hello John, Yesterday I fulfilled a photo request for Col. Greig. I learned from the cemetery office that he is not buried in Edson as his page indicates, but is buried in Westlawn, the other City of Lowell cemetery across the street from Edson. I also took a photo of his wife's marker and created a memorial page for her (#161849358). Now you will be able to edit Col. Greig's page with the correct cemetery/lot and connect him to his spouse. Sincerely, Gail
Regarding David Thomas Thanks for your quick response. I do have a copy of their marriage, also death certificate for David but didn't seem to have one for Betsey. Another mystery is on the Revolutionary stone at the museum it has soldiers listed on it and one is David Thomas. He was born in 1786 so couldn't be him. Thanks again for you help
Major David Thomas He was my 3rd great grandfather and came fron Connecticut. He came to Middletown Springs in approximately 1811 at least that's when he appeared in the History of Middletown. He married Betsey Perry and had two children, Dr. Oscar and Adelia Haynes. I have tried for a while now to get any info. I could. I belong to the Middletown Historial Society, they were able to get a little info but not where he came from. Thank for anything you may or may not find. Mabel Thomas Traver
