Tohill name
hi I'm encouraged to see a photo of Tohill in Bellaghy graveyard although I am not sure of the connection to my great great grandmother fanny Tohill . I have only assumed she was from ballyscullion but cannot locate her birth date or parentage .?she married my g g granda James Ledwidge /ledgewood in St Mary's Bellaghy 1858 I know they then moved to the Creagh area and had their 9 children . I am trying to connect the tohills and am not sure if this is a relative of hers in Bellaghy graveyard . Her name was also listed as Toughill in some records . Any help gratefully received x

RE: Photo question
No problem - I figured you would want to know. You do seem to have a lot of family in St. Pat's. It's a lovely place. I really like researching it - I get such an interesting view of the city that way.

Photo question
Hi Tom,
Is the photo for Frank Mullen 81563264 the same grave as 81566977 (Frank and Florence Mullen)? I was confused about the McGovern name...

Helena Boyle
Bellaghy Cemetery John O'Boyle
Hi Thomas,

This is the resting place of my Grandmothers brother & his wife Kathleen.
I hope you don't mind, but I have added John's date of birth, he was one of twins. His twin brother Michael died at birth.John was one of 11 children.
I don't know how you deal with this or if you don't, but John (Shaun) was born a Boyle, he changed his family surname himself & not through deed poll either - most of his children are O'Boyle, but not all.
John's parents were Patrick Boyle & Elizabeth (McGrory).
This is all I know for now of John & Kathleen.

Best wishes

Helena Boyle

RE: Pelletier St. Mary's Salem
You are very lucky, I have not been very lucky tracing the family back to Russia. I was not very interested in it when my grandparents were alive. Now I only have bits and pieces of information.

My husband has a lot of Pelletier's in St. Mary's. You have done a great job.
I did my DNA thru I am 100% Russian.! My Husband is French and English and little bit of everything else.
