I am related to the Lynus Chapman and Hezekiah Patchen familys from the Wolfe Island and New York areas. If anyone knows of these families I would like to hear from you.|

I noticed you are the manager of the following memorial, and (because it was transferred to you) I suspect you are a descendant. So, I thought you might like to know that we just added a photo:
Mrs Eleanor Campbell Dickson #51474004
-Scott (& Susan) ("suscat") (PS we tried to send this privately, but it bounced back as an invalid address)

I'm new to find-a-grave and a cousin of yours and Marlene's. I wrote a letter to you and Marlene and sent it to the email address you posted here, but it bounced back. So, do you have an update on your address? I also mentioned in my letter, that my wife and I did research on our Chapman and Patchen families there on the St. Lawrence a couple years ago, and have brought home tons of stuff I've yet to even get digitalized. Anyway . . . , please let me know your address so I can send the note.
Thanx. . . , and Have a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat day!
PS Thanx for posting the news item on Lynus' death. I knew he died up at Shabot Lake, but I had no idea how. By the way, how did you happen to find out he was buried in Riverside Cemetery?
My wife and I were there and got photos of all the family there, including Dorothy, but Lynus was not with her -- unless the family buried him without a headstone.
|Thelma Dickinson Moye||Add information to a memorial|
If you look at the top of the memorial where it says edit. Click on that , it will take you to a page that says for corrections , additions & etc..click on that & it opens a page where you can ask the person who has the memorial to add the information or correct it. If it is family ask for a transfer. Most people are really nice about it & if they are not related they will transfer it even if it isn't within the guide lines. They would rather see it with family. I have a lot that aren't family & I am waiting for someone to ask..I have only come across one that wasn't very pleasant...If I have any that are related to you let me know through the edit page..If the person is inactive or deceased it will say so & then you go to the help page & email find a grave & they will transfer it to you no matter who it is...If you need help let me know, glad to help out...You may get some that will just transfer them to you rather then add info. I get a lot of them..

I deleted the one's I had added. I will also watch for those names in Irene Dixon Bamfords diaries. I have been transcribing to my web site. A lot of people on Wolfe Island also had connections to Kingston & Jefferson Co., New York have you checked those web sites to see what is there. I have a cousin also that lived on Wolfe island as a kid I will check & see what they know..I can send you a link to the site on Wolfe Island. I still have family there, I love that little Island. Sorry I didn't get back to you but I never got your e mail. Keep in touch, Thelma

I see you have added duplicate memorials for the Chapman family in the St Lawrence Cemetery on Wolfe Island I figure they are related to you & so do you want me to delete the ones I added. The land that the Cemetery is on once belonged to my great great grandfather William Wells Bamford. When I started on Find A Grave it wasn't listed & as I had a listing of those buried there I added all the names I had & the cemetery. So glad to see a family member take them over I could have transfered them to you if you had let me know.
