Bio and Links
Bio Photo My fiance (# 47319474)and I try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.I am the one who puts the majority of the photos up, and he is the one who can decipher the older ( hard to read) stones. We work well together :)

Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.

Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.

I no longer will do edits when there is no contact info. I have had too many questionable edits sent, plops in cemeteries that would encompass my memorials if I accept, and links that are assumed, but not verified.

Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.

I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:)

Picture of John Raab
I think this picture you have shown is Adam Raab who is the father of John Raab--( I could be wrong ) I added the picture that I have of John Raab ( John Raab is written on back of the piture I have ) and if you notice there are 9 children in my picture---- The Raab's and Gingrich both had family reunions in Grand Rapids Michigan. I actually have a picture of the reunion and at the top of the picture is a man that looks exactly like the picture you have shown and his name is Adam Raab. If, you look closely at one of the girls, she resembles very closely Louise Raab who married I H Gingrich

let me know.

RE: Mary T. Taylor Sutherland
It's funny. This is the second offer I've had to assume management of a memorial. That time as well as this my first reaction is to quickly respond with an emphatic yes, which is followed by a feeling of guilt like I'm stealing something that someone put a lot of time and effort into. That having been said I'd be honored and thrilled to manage her memorial until perhaps a Sutherland comes along and claims her. I did have a question for you as well. During your endeavors, have you come across the grave of her brother Dennis Taylor (1814-1888) who likely was buried in the Saugatuck? I can't find him or his wife Harriet anywhere despite finding both of his siblings and both parents. He's shown in the 1880 census as a widower and renter in Saugatuck. She passed away prior to 1870 in Ganges. Thanks again and don't hesitate to ask should you think I could do something for you.

Thanks so much for the speedy update on his memorial. I am related, but distantly and as long as the information is up to date, I'm happy with that. It's a great site and I hope it helps many others doing their genealogy. Happy Hunting!

RE: Mary T. Taylor Sutherland
The 1870 Federal Census lists her name as Mary P. Sutherland. I also recall reading a marriage record or announcement using the initial P as well. I can't provide documentation; therefore, your choice to simply leave it blank is appropriate. Normally I'd leave well enough alone, but she's my 3rd great grand aunt and a heroine of my family tree. Her diligence, dedication to her family history and record keeping is what exploded a long-standing brick wall and allowed me to reach back another five generations to an english immigrant, who arrived in Massachusetts before 1646. She so loved her father and her maiden name that she named her first born Dennis Taylor Sutherland! I'd like to thank you for your diligence, dedication to family history and record keeping is invaluable and a tremendous service to many who'd have no access otherwise. You're another heroine of my family tree. Thanks for all you do!

Mary T. Taylor Sutherland
She was born Mary P. Taylor. The "T" listed as her middle initial is Taylor, her maiden name.
