One of my earliest memories is accompanying my father to a small cemetery in Lambertville, Michigan to plants flowers on my grandfather's grave. The graveyard was filled with old headstones from the mid 1800's and sparked my interest in headstone inscriptions. |
Having buried my oldest son at a very young age, I have begun documenting the "lost children", little ones who may be buried alone or in infant/children sections. I take comfort in finding these small headstones and entering their information in findagrave.com for future generations.
Please contact me if you find any errors and I will make corrections.
Also, if I manage one of your relatives pages, I will be happy to transfer (unless they are my relative, too).
I also enjoy photographing unique monuments and interesting inscriptions. My blog contains pictures and I'm always looking for more to add!

I have photographed the enire Cogswell Cemetery looking for Julia. Seems there are many many stones that are barely readable or not at all. Many are broken or damaged. I find a stone for a Julia A Wife of and then I can't read the rest looks like Barker or Parker she might have died in 1860. That is the only Julia stone that is legible. Sorry

You placed a photo on this grave & this little girl actually already has a memorial that has existed since 2009. The memorial number is: 38008346. She's relate to my family.
Would you place your photo of the tombstone on the older memorial?
Thank you for all that you do on Find A Grave.

Marni, I will be asking for a headstone photo for Alvan Wells #101752544 through the proper channels. However, you took a photo of the headstone for his wife, Barbara (Oberley) Wells #101752544 at an earlier date. Would you please copy Barbara's headstone photo and place it on Alvan's memorial, too? Thanks.

Would you go to memorial #67226567 Frederick Zinser and review the photos and consider removing one of the smaller and maybe the large one. On the larger I have copyed the names you have placed on the caption and would place them in the Bio area.
I added the obit today and just noticed the number of photos.
My 2nd great grandparents were Eli & Annette Stocking-continuing thru Florence Robinson. Do you have a picture or know where Annette's grave site is?
