My love of cemeteries began when I was a young girl and my great-grandmother took me up on the hill to the cemetery. She called it the "family cemetery", and I have called it that ever since. I believe we can honor our loved ones even after they are gone from us.|
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Can you please pass ownership. She is related to me.

Thanks, I'm working on getting maps put on findagrave to all the cemeteries listed for Montgomery Co that do not have them. Your directions helped me find it and I have sent in the coordinates, to get a map added to it, to the moderator.

|Kimberly Rose Wheatley||RE: Armstrong Bias|
Hi Pam. Its been awhile since we chatted. I have linked the graves of my father, paternal grandmother, great grandfather (Roland Bias) to his father Armstrong Bias (son of Obediah and Rachel Bias)and downloading some pics and info. I am hoping someone up there will get me a pic of Roland and Louemma Baisden Bias grave buried in the 1920s in Teays Hill Cemetery so we can post; long way from me in Florida. Maybe that will be an easier way to see how we are related now that I've figured some of this out. Let me know if you hear of any Rev War updates for Obediah I Bias. The last I heard, I understand they are working on getting a monument for his grave from DAR. If they have a ceremony, I would love to be there as a representative. I was inducted on my moms side in December 2013. Bias is on my dads side and would love to have another patriot on his side too. Godspeed.

Go here for more info on my descendent Anthony Armstrong Bias:
Family tree my cousin did above a fab job on might be helpful for you. Just inducted into DAR (Daughters of American Revolution) Dec 2013 moms side. Would love one on dads and understand Obediah was rev war. Let me know if you or anyone has more info on that. Would love to be at any memorial service when he gets his marker in WV.
His grandaughter Georgia Ann Bias was my paternal grandmother and her dad was Roland B son on Anthony Armstrong. Would love to hear from any cousins! Kimsold@earthlink.net or Facebook me! Have a blessed Memorial Day.

Do you mind if I use your gravestone pictures for my ancestry.com page?

I'm sorry, but I don't know the directions. It's been a while since I put this information here, but I believe it came from a book I had ordered online. I've moved since then, and not quite sure where it is, as this is still in storage. I wish you luck in finding it.

|Jerry Halstead||John Flynn and Elizabeth|
Sorry, but the names John Flynn and Elizabeth do not sound familiar to me. I have done extensive research on my lines, so I would assume that they come from a different branch of the Halstead tree.
|Jenine Kimbler||RE: correction: Woodrow|
Still working on my Browning tree - I have went back quite a ways, but have not done each family individually. I do know that I have a Woodrow Hunter in my line, and he probably descends from a Browning female. I am working on the Brownings this week so I will let you know. Do you have any information on Woodrow Browning (dates birth/death, etc.)?
|Jenine Kimbler||RE: Col. John Miller & wife, Elisabeth|
The pictures are in the middle of a comment I made on Jan. 1 of this year wishing everybody a happy new year (don't know how the Millers came up in the middle of that). You'll have to "view previous comments" to get down to the photos. If you can't find them I don't mind sending. For the time being, I'll just post them on Kentucky Knoll under "E.S. Miller" and "B.J. Miller" and state that research is being conducted to find out who they are. It is so cold here right now (10 degrees) that I just can't bring myself to go back out to the cemetery right now, but I will try to read them again. In the meantime, if you come up with anything will you let me know? Thanks.
