My "home place" is St. Clair County, Michigan, particularly the St. Clair River District, where my families have lived since 1835. It has been my privilege to have served with both the East China Historical Commission and the St. Clair Historical Commission.|
Findagrave is a wonderful resource to historians, genealogists and families. In the interest of accuracy, if you have an edit for any of my entries, please use "any other corrections or additions" to add your source material for the additions/changes. That way, we can all work together so that those that have gone before us will have their information entered correctly.
Please feel free to use any of my photographs; a "taken by Suzanne" note would be appreciated.
I love walking through old cemeteries and have enjoyed preserving in photographs the old forgotten and crumbling, broken stones. The children's stones with the little lambs particularly touch my heart. Lovely too, are the pictorial spiritual testimonies carved in stone that adorn many of the old graves, pointing to the life to come, the life that knows no death.
"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." John 11:25

Sorry, but there's no familial relationship that I know of. I just happened to find it easy to dig up additional information to add to several memorials. Sort of my way of paying forward to other people for all the help that I've received from others over the past 60 years while doing my own family history research.

I did find the death information, but not the burial place. Ask if you can.

Just want to let you know that the Grace's last child-daughter Connie just pasted 11/09/2015. I have made a Find A Grave memorial for her and links.
Have been trying to find John W. Clark (her father) death record 1884-1946, but have not had much luck. Those dates maybe not be correct as it was taken off another family member web site and I could not verify it. Also made a Find A Grave memorial with his burial location unknown at this time.

Correction of maiden name made; added biographical date and links. Happy to oblige.

I'm not totally sure about the marker except maybe both names are on it. Some of the older ones are like that. Kind of like a family marker. Would you like me to transfer these to you?
Lucina's maiden name is Bennet.
She was born in March of 1826 in New York.
She had at least 5 children

We have spoken/e-mailed before.
My ggg grandfather is Peter Patterson. He is a Civil War Veteran buried in Hillside Cemetery in St. Clair. You are managing his grave on Find A Grave. His mother's name on his death certificate was incorrect. Her name was Felicity Pineau dite Laperle (French) or the English version is Phyllis Laperle. I submitted an edit re his birth date which is October 10, 1839 but was not allowed to for his mother's name.
