Genevieve M. Sowers
Hi Phyliss, I am Jerry Hughes a volunteer in my area of Los Angeles (Gardena) and yesterday while visiting Roosevelt cemetery I photographed Genevieve M. Sowers. After doing some research as I do on all my people I photograph I found a 1910 census that listed a Ward Sowers as spouse. I do believe the one you loaded up is her husband, # 39193813. If you can confirm that I will link her to him. Her memorial is # 117514363. Thanks for your help, greatly appreciative, Jerry Hughes

RE: Sowers family line

Could you send me an email with exactly who you are looking for? I am getting confused here.

You think that Mabel Sowers married James Frederick Andereck? Is that correct? I'll try to see what I can find out if you send me more info on who you are trying to link,

RE: Sowers family line
Hi Phyllis, Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, but I was on vacation when you sent your message.

I do have a pic of James Frederick Andereck's death record which lists his mother as Mabel Yowell.

Then I have a pic of Mabel Andereck's death record and it does list her Husband as Harry Andereck and her parents as James Yowell and Leolelia Eubanks.

I'm not sure if this helps or makes your research harder. If you need more info or would like to see the death record for Mabel Yowell Andereck's please let me know. You can email me directly if you'd like

Meinard Doyen
Dear Mrs. Hansen,

I am not a relative but would like to relate a memory of your Uncle that was handed down in my family. I was born in Menard County 05-18-40, the fourth child of William Felix Moss and Elizabeth Moss. (Both now deceased) Our family moved back to KY in 1947.

My father and your uncle worked together on a farm that I believe was owned by E.E. Brass. Dad related that Meinard was quite a jolly fellow with an outgoing sense of humor. They both went to work at a defense plant in Springfield in the early forties but Meinard was soon drafted into the army.

My brother six years older than me, and now living in MT, probably remembers Meinard. I shall inform him of this site.
