Bio Photo "Here lyeth
a decaying Body
of Historical Evidence
that should be Recorded
before it crumbles into Dust
or is Destroyed
by the work of Vandals.

Stand still reader, and let fall a tear
For the facts engraved here
And then make haste, transcribe these lines,
Learn while ye may the meaning of these signs,
Preserve these stones, avert the crime
Snatch history from the hands of time."

I have just posted the photo for your request for LuBelle Robbins (at Portland Memorial Mausoleum) Wade T Robbins is interred with her. I have made a very sparse memorial for him. I would be more than happy to transfer to you. I assume they are married but did not show that. Just didn't wan't him "lost"

Gunnison Co.Civil War photo SOWLES
I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of our many C.W. Veterans. George D. Sowles is one such patriot. May I use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave memorial, to post on the Vt. C.W. Site? (
You will receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Elva Oltman Grave
The cemetery just started limits on me a few days ago. It's understandable - as they explained there is work they get paid to do and my research takes them away from that. Too bad I can't look names up myself.

RE: Daniel & Gladys Jones
No problem. I live right in town & I want to get as many of the graves there as possible photographed and up.
