A. 44th Illinois inft.. res. of peru, lasalle co., Illinois at enlistment. b. Germany. widow Josephine applied for pension 5-23-1908. otto gmelich co. D. 4th u.s. inft. applied for pension dec. 23, 1908. friedrich gmehlich co. A. 1st. n.j. lt. art. applied for pension 7-23-1890. others above, applied for a pension. 3 are on findagrave. one linked to parents in lasalle county, Illinois. check 1850 & 1860 lasalle county censuses for a born in germany search, no name or surname in search. name probably misspelled.
