People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.|
Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.
Do not ask me to transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!
You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday
Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.
While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.
Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.
Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.

Well, I made the correspondence based on the following evidence:
(1) The bury location (W-8) matches and there is no surviving headstone for a "James Crouch" (nor one shown in the plot map for the lot).
(2) The interment date for James is two days after the death date shown on Thomas's stone.
(3) The age at death matches (70 years for both).
(4) There doesn't seem to be any independent entry for a Thomas Crouch in the interment records from anywhere before 1892. (I even searched for memorials in Find A Grave with various alternate spellings or partial spellings of the first and last names.)
So, I am pretty sure that they are the same person. What I am less sure about is what his real first name is. (E.g., I could imagine, for example, that his full name could be James Thomas Crouch or Thomas James Crouch.) I tried looking in ancestry.com but couldn't find a definite match...There was a James Thomas Crouch who was kind of close but he apparently died in Wilmington, NY, which is nowhere near Brighton. I debated suggesting we add "James" as a nickname...Or maybe we can just leave it as is, since it is unclear which is his real first name.
thanks for the transfer! i'll update him

|Graveyard Walker||Langwell family|
My cousin was married to a son of Eugene Dennis Langwell and Leota Marie Arnold.
|Graveyard Walker||Langwell family|
My first cousin's husband was a member of the Langwell family - he is now deceased. My cousin is not a member of "Find-A-Grave" so I requested the memorial updates for her. Thank you for creating theses memorials. As her children grow up I know that they will find these lasting links and connections to their family very valuable.

Thanks for adding the updates, Daryl. I appreciate your help...Kim
Yours are OK. Thanks for the advice!
Daryl, I am only very distantly related through his wife who was a grandchild of Henry Spencer Allen.
While doing the family links today, I noticed some other dups. If you want I could contact her and suggest they be merged so the "flowers" and other add-ons aren't lost.
Am not sure what the best procedure is. Should I make a list and send to her or send it to Find a Grave and ask for mergers?????

Thank you for adding her maiden name and linking her to her parents.
