Bio Photo FIRST: ALL OF MY PICS ARE HERE TO SHARE WITH YOU!!!! THESE ARE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS AND YOU SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO THEM!!! I FEEL BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO HELP YOU IN YOUR SEARCH. During the Summer months its headstones and winter months its library work looking for obits. Don't be afraid to ask me to check out an obit at the library for you!!!!

When my paternal Grandfather died I realized there were so many questions I had about his family. He and his siblings were taken from his abusive, alcoholic parents when he was just a small boy. I wanted to know more about these people. I got just so far back and got stuck. I went the route of head stones hoping that maybe I could get a small clue there to get me back one more generation. No such luck. But, I gained a new obsession. I love the heastones. The way you can take headstones and research them and put families together, go to another website and sometimes find an obituary from 80 years ago. I pick a cemetery and make it my own. I have started a cemetery that had a list of 200 souls and finished with 600 souls. That is 400 family members that someone now has the ability to find. That is amazing to me that I can be part of putting a family together 100 years later. I will do requests but I much prefer taking on a whole cemetery and just doing the whole thing.

Thank you for this picture. I am a Brainerd/Brainard researcher and am having difficulty figuring out who this woman/girl is in the family. I wonder if you can discern anything from your picture that might give a hint. A year of some sort? Maybe?

If you can't I'll just put her in my "unknown" file until I come across her someday.

Reuben and Rosannah Brown
Forgot to mention that Reuben and Rosannah are my 4th great grandparents. They had 14 children, so it has been quite an adventure trying to find everyone. There are many ancestors who I cannot find a memorial for on Find A Grave. I have an excellent family document that was written about Reuben Brown and have been using this as my starting place.

Thank you again.

RE: Mary Taylor
Thank you. As I live in Michigan, it is not likely that I will get to the cemetery. Many of my ancestors are buried there. The family of Reuben and Rosannah Brown. Once again, thank you.

Grace W Newton
Hi

I was wondering if you would transfer this grave to my care? Grace is my Great Aunt. She was married to my paternal great uncle; Ellsworth Newton. She was a special lady. I remember fondly visiting her as a kid and listening to her cuckoo clock. She made amazing cookies that we always had a bag of for the trip home.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Mary Taylor
Hi:

I know this is a long shot, but just wondering if you have come across a headstone for Mary Taylor. She was born in 1835 and died in 1851. I am assuming that she is buried in the Brick Church cemetery along with the rest of the family. he is the daughter of William and Harriet Taylor.

Thank you.

Thank you
Thank you for doing the Brick Church Cemetery. My Brown family comes from New York and it has been truly helpful to find their headstones.

Gene Francisco
Nelson Francisco
Hi Diane

My name is Gene Francisco, and I am inquiring about some information you posted concerning Nelson Francisco. He is buried in the Lyons Rural Cemetery. In the information you include you indicate that his father was Johan Francisco (Cisco) (buried in South Sodus Cemetery). Might I ask how you determined that? My family has long been working on determining Nelson's father, and we know that Johan (John) is related but could not confirm this relationship. If you could share your research or reasonings I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!

Gene
