Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family tree and cemetery researcher for my own Comeau - Touchette - Henley - Deschenes - Spoor - Gauthier - Brault - Hade family. Then in turn for all my niblings: Saint Andre - Woodbury - Snow - Haney - Cox - Charron - Barthelette - Sobon - Fusari. Also, for my grand niblings: Cardinal - Omdal - Poljacik - Williams.

Any cemetery photograph that I have posted is available for use for genealogical reasons. Credit me as Robert Comeau at findagrave. Normally only one side of a stone is shown for one person. The spouse of that person and their children would have the other sides.

The following cemetery pages on FindaGrave have been created by me. It you know more information about the cemetery history, its geographic location, or pictures, then write to me. Most are memorial sites or churchyards in Massachusetts or small parish cemeteries in Quebec Province.

Charlotte Cook Spoor
Hi Robert -

My mother was a COOK.....related to OLIVER COOK of Farnham Quebec.

I believe Oliver was a brother of Charlotte but am not sure.

Would you have any information regarding WHIPPLE COOK and his family?

Thanks very much,

Dave Adams

France records
Sorry, I just noticed that I hadn't read all of your email - would you like a couple of links to online records in France (the message would then need deleted, since they're links)? Let me know...

Jean Adam #142707400
I really haven't been able to find a lot on him other than the family & Notary information from the Tanguay collection, his name is listed as Jean-Baptiste in his son's marriage on the Drouin collection), and his baptism in France is verified with the PRDH. I agree though, Adam seems like a non-French name, so it's hard to say where his father may have come from...

Thank you for your suggestion regarding the numerous Sainte Ann cemeteries. Much appreciated.
I see you are researching the Henley (Hanley)s of the Gaspe. I have info and some pictures incl. Patrick/Fournier family of Fall River MA if you need them. I am looking for as many 19th century pictures of my ancestors that I can find as well as their burial locations and monuments. Some day, I hope to get to the Gaspe region so far only virtual tours. Thought you might be interested by this SPOOR memorial - it happens to be in a cemetery which is a mere 15-miles from my door. Mr. SPOOR knew Sewall ANDREWS, a Wisconsin pioneer and friend (who happens to be a 4th-Great-Grand-Uncle to my son, his mom, and grandpa - through the RESSEGUIE family). See my "virtual flower" entry at the memorial. I contributed ALL of the data in the BIO section. In addition I've written a complete biography about Mr. Andrews, wherein his adventures with A. Spoor are documented [link]:

Jean-Baptiste Trottier
I don't know if you saw my note that I added to his memorial Saturday (sorry, I forgot that I changed my email address on Find A Grave and just got the message)...

Anyway, the posted photo is a log of baptisms, not the actual record. We were able to find his baptismal record though. It was kind of fun, because the Latin interpreter that helped me with it said that his mother hid her pregnancy and that he was born at sea during the two month journey. He was unable to be baptized on the ship, so was baptized 3 days after they arrived (probably as soon as they could get it done).

If you're a direct descendant and would like a copy for your records, I'd be happy to share it - just let me know... Thanks
