I am the 7th great grandson of Andreas Peterson Longacre Born in 1657, who was the son of Peter Anderson, born about 1620 in Sweden. Peter staggered off the boat at Ft.Christina, now in Delaware, in 1640.
I am the fifth great grandson of Andrew & Hannah Ireson Longacre, my fore bearers that courageously moved from the Delaware river area by Philadelphia to Winchester VA, around 1752. They are the fore bearers of all Western & Southern Longacre's.
I am the third great grandson of John Longacre, murdered by federal troops in front of his home in Bluff Springs Missouri in July 1862.
