Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I enjoy being photo volunteers. I use Find-A-Grave to research my family's genealogy and maintain and/or create their sites when possible. I like to include biographical sketches, family links and photos in hopes that will help others who are researching the same lines. I am researching Porter, VanPatten, Starns, Lewis, Hogg, Lawson, Kolp, Proctor, Childs, McCoy, Aplington, Bruner and more. If you see errors please let me know.

Thank you..........
Dear Phyllis

I just came across your Find-A-Grave work for this man whose cremains are still unclaimed. You are so kind to try to locate his family members and I suspect you will eventually.

A person like you is referred to as a Mensch in my Jewish faith.........such kindness and caring for a stranger is rewarding to find in this century.

Best regards,

Asa and Ammon Booth
How is it that you came to possess the memorials for these two individuals as I had previously had them, and did not transfer them to you.

RE: Clyde Vaughan
It's shameful that so many remains are unclaimed. In the case of Clyde Vaughan, it's possible he has no close relatives alive by now. I'm a rather distant relative, and I've been talking to some other distant relatives. I'll get back to you soon.

Christina McCoy
have talked to the caretaker at IOOF. Christina is buried between large headstone and Elihu McCoy (No Stone). Thomas McCoy is in the middle on the backside of the tombstone. He has no record of Jeffie. He says that doesnt mean shes not there. that just means he has no record.

Joseph Welch Cremains
I was wondering if you are near the Oregon State Hospital or if you have any info about contacting them that is different than what is on their website. I am willing to claim Joseph's cremains and I have left multiple message and even tried the e-mail listed (my server says not a valid e-mail). No one responds to my messages at all.
Also, I was wondering where the name George came from. Everything I find on him just lists his name as Joseph Welch.
