I came across another Cowden at Mt. View in San Bernardino,Ca. I wasn't sure if she's part of the Cowdens you requested photos for? There's no memorial page for her, but I did take a photo just in case. Let me know if you want me to add it.

We must be related...
I see my grandparents in your list of Jones:
Grover & Etta Campbell. I am new to research and I am having a hard time adding the links to children in the ones I manage. Any advice?
We must be related. Guessing distant cousins.

RE: Question
Regarding Bruce David Merritt. It's most certainly in the National Memorial of the Pacific. Honolulu Memorial is a list of names inscribed on a large wall. It's a long story, but the confusion is not usual.

Love family in Greenwood County
Hi Brad and April,
At this time I don't have any more information on them. I have three folders of obituaries from old newspapers in that area and my girlfriend Leta Watts Harrell is also in the process of adding obits in that area. If I find any for the Love families I will let you know.
Happy hunting,
Kathy G.

RE: Marion Jones, Jr
Yes. I looked twice. Did find a Marion Johnson nearby and I think the death was the same year even.

I do not know who his parents were. Only thing is from the 1930 Census, it shows his birthplace as Arkansas. That may be a clue. His father's birthplace was Pennsylvania and mother's U.S. Sorry, that is all the information I have on him.

Bruce David Merritt? National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific OR Honolulu Memorial?
Hi Brad and April, The National Cemetery of the Pacific is the correct location, as he is actually buried in the cemetery there. The American Battlefield Commission has in error submitted his name at the Honolulu Memorial which is incorrect. The Honolulu Memorial is located at the National Cemetery of the Pacific and has the names of Army, Navy, Marine, and Coast Guardsmen who were either missing in action, lost at sea, buried at sea engraved at the "Courts of the Missing" at the memorial there.
