I'm the mother of three and the grandmother of nine. I've been hooked on genealogy for about 45 years. I just recently found "Find A Grave" and think that it's a wonderful resource.|

Thank you for checking on Oscar for me. Is there any way that you can take a photograph of at least his location and post on his memorial page since there is no headstone? Many thanks.

Thanks for going and taking a picture of the monument for William and Sarah Hunnewell. They are cousins. I am doing ancestry. I live in Illinois and will probably never go to New Hampshire.

Doris Catherine Shinnick #147281352 married my Great Uncle Hermit Bud Adams. Doris Parents are thought to be Micheal Paul & Catherine Mary (Cotter) (Cote) Shinnick. Can you give me any info for Doris? Thank you
|Nancy A. Shattuck||Aaron Sweet, Swett|
I believe you have the wrong information about your Aaron 'Sweet'. He was listed in the 1850 census with his wife Frances and children, including Mary C. Sweet in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was living with Mary C. Little and her husband in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1865. He was living in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1860. He was listed as having died in Newton, Massachusetts in 1875. He was the son of Aaron Sweet and Sarah and was born in 1800 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. His father and mother are buried there. It appears that Mary Little had her father buried in their family plot after he died. I found a death record for Frances G.C. Sweet, daughter of Samuel Chamberlin and Mary having died in Boston, Massachusetts 21 May 1852, estimated birth is 1804.
The Aaron Sweet/Swett that died in Amesbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts was the son of Deacon Aaron Swett and Molly Blaisdell, born in 1803 in Salisbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was married to Lydia Butters who died in Salisbury, Mass. in 1892. This family also had connections to the Rockingham Co., New Hampshire area.
The name 'Swett' and 'Sweet' are often used interchangably. Much of this information can be accessed on the LDS site.
Let me know what you find,
Nancy A. Shattuck
