|Tracy Alshouse||RE: Picture of Valentine and Elizabeth Hinkle|
Done. New Pictures are in. The mistake came when my dad's cousin mislabeled Hinkles and with Nicholas Rich. My dad and uncle noticed the mistake. So now the pictures are correct. Yes I am related. Valentine & Elizabeth Hinkle are my 2nd great grand parents. As are Nicholas & Anna Rich ( whom the pictures were mixed up with). Thanks for all your help. Tracy (Rich) Alshouse

That's what confuses me...the picture of the gravestone itself doesn't have an N on it. Your picture is the small one with just a name....so is your picture a footstone or something like that?
Mercy Cole born 1716 married Nathaniel Mayo in 1735 so they are not likely parents for Nathaniel Mayhew b 1725 since she was only 9 years old in that year. Still searching for Nathaniel Mayhew's real parents.
|BarbGoodridge||how long did Nathaniel Mayhew live?|
Can you read the dates on your photo of the tombstone of Nathaniel Mayhew born 1720, son of Zaccheus and Susannah Wade Mayhew. It looks like the words Nov and Dec are on the stone. Didn't this child die within first year?
In the memorial it says that he is the husband of Mary McFadden who died in 1808. How is this possible? I'm looking for the parents of the Nathaniel Mayhew who died in 1808 as an old man, but clearly he can't be the child who died in infancy.

Please add that Capt Aaron Kellogg was a Revolutionary War Veteran.
|Ann Curfew-Eagar||Nathaniel Stoddard|
Nathaniel Stoddard Memorial # 40114655 is my great-great grandfather. I know that his one and only wife was Jane McManagle who changed her Scottish name to McMann. Nathaniel did not have two wives, Jane is the mother of their 4 boys. He died when they were young. His mother is Mary Mitchel 1759-1842.
I would appreciate it if you would change the description to Nathaniel to reflect this information. Thank you so much for doing this.
|W & L||Tabith Hunter Kent|
It would seem that Tabitha, wife of Absalom Kent, would have died before 1817 or either not be the mother of Absalom's children? Mary's date of death creates a conflict.
