|My parents, Marshall C. and Ellen Bookman Peters, are buried in the Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas. I am interested in completing as much as possible of the Peters, Dansby, Bookman, Smith, Cole and Soule/Soles lines that are direct ancestors of mine or immediate family of those ancestors. I am also developing the lines of my wife that includes Adams, Yeager Christian and Guerrant. If you have photographs, obituaries, tombstone photos, or other relevant information not already posted, I would be pleased to receive the items from you in order that I may add them to the individual sites.|
Additionally, I am developing a Burial Registry for as many of the documented Citizens of the Republic of Texas as I can locate in a cemetery on Find A Grave. I welcome any information regarding those I have yet to locate. I am also doing subsets of that list for Brazos County and the eight counties surrounding Brazos County.

You are hosting a memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 46496726) on George Webb in the Iola Cemetery. I have a George Webb (son of William A Webb and Sarah Jane Terry) in my family line. I know that you have probably posted all the information you have on this individual but thought I would post some information I have to see if anyone can validate if this individual and my ancestor are the one and same. George Webb (my ancestor) was born March 1874 in Mississippi. Looking forward to any inquiries.
|Renea Swayzer||CORETHA TUCKER|
Hello, I am trying to locate some of my relatives. I saw the obit you did for Thelma King. Her daughter Coretha Tucker (RIP) is my mother's sister as they share the same father Jessie Tucker (RIP). I am trying to locate Coretha's kids, grandkids etc. I remember Sherry Smith and Gary Tucker. I do not have any information on them. My name is Renea Swayzer and I am Beryle Oliver's (Tucker)daughter. If you are able to reach any of Coretha's descendants, please give them my information. Renea Swayzer email@example.com 8177680961. Thank you!!!!

Hello Mr. Peters,
I have been trying my best to find where Elizabeth Martha (Westall) Hill - not Phillips - is buried. Elizabeth Martha Westall was married three times;
1) James Elijah Brown Austin (Brother of Stephen F. Austin.)
2) Zeno Phillips (father of Sarah Olivia Phillips.)
3) William Green Hill (stepfather of Sarah Olivia Phillips.)
Both Sarah Olivia Phillips and Elizabeth Martha (Westall) Hill died at Waverly Plantation, Brazoria County, Texas but only Sarah Olivia Phillips (of this mother/daughter duo) is listed as being buried in the Phillips Family Cemetery in West Columbia, Brazoria County, Texas. I can't find her mother listed in any cemetery!
(Note:) William Green Hill was previously married before marrying Elizabeth Martha. Hill died in Brazoria County on June 30, 1860. In his Nuncupative Will he asked to be buried beside his wife Eliza (Elizabeth Martha,)who had died in 1847.
Also, with each of her first two marriages, Elizabeth Martha inherited large tracts of land. When she married William Green Hill, he had been awarded 960 acres of land for services in various campaigns in 1835-36 and would receive another one league and one labor of land in 1838, for his service in Texas's war of independence and it became a republic.
When Elizabeth Martha herself died, her family took William Green Hill to court and gained control of her previous land holdings of her first two husbands. William Green Hill built a new plantation home on his own land while the court battle was going on, and called the new plantation Osceola.
I have looked for the graves of both Elizabeth Martha (Westall) Hill and William Green Hill, and have found nothing in Find A Grave databases for either one.
So, I'm unable to create a memorial page for you, for Elizabeth Martha (Westall) Hill.
If you know of any additional information for these two individuals or how to find their graves, please let me know and I'll work with you again.
Thank you so very kindly for the work you've put in for me.
Respectfully, Rex Jacy Harrison

On memorial 20619349 you indicate that this is a ROT marker for SRT or DRT. Please remove this statement. The marker is for service in the War of 1912. Enlarge the photo and you can see the honor explained. Thanks

Just a note to express sincere appreciation for the extensive information in this memorial especially its links to his family members. Great photograph! -- Betty Johnson, Yeager researcher, #47542508

Hi, I didn't notice him already on your virtual cemetery roster. Maybe I missed his name or maybe he isn't there because his memorial is handled by FindAGrave. It is # 9834. He is in Round Rock Cemetery in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, and I thought you might want to know. I made a little emblem (virtual flower type thing) out of the emblem on the back of his tombstone, but for some reason, I wasn't allowed to post it. If you're interested in being able to have people use the little emblem as respect on your virtual cemetery, like when they make a comment, I'll try to figure out a way to get it to you. It is tiny of course, but authentic. If you just want to see it, it is in approximately the 17 to 20th comment down on A W Grimes' memorial. Good luck.
|Christine Johnson-Williams||Cole Family|
Hello Mervin, I am researching the African American Cole Family out of Bryan and Burlson County. I was able to trace our Joe Cole to his owner Ransom Cole. I traced them from Bryan back to Cass and into LA. I was wondering if you may have any slave information from your Cole family that you could share with me. It seems my Joe Cole was just a baby when Ransom moved to Cass Texas with his daughter and Son-in-law Mr. Beckham. Not sure who Joe's parents were. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

|Marylyn Caraway||Ann Reeves McMillan|
I do not believe that Edward Reeves and Jane Melvin Reeves are the parents of Ann Reeves McMillan. Ann Reeves McMillan was born in Ireland and came to American in 1821. All of Edward & Jane's children were born in America. Could you please remove the connection? If you need more documentation, please contact me.
