I enjoy all types of research, art, history, camping, children, genealogy, a good read, movies, family reunions, plays, bird watching, singing, cats , dogs, friends, writing, and oh yes, checking out cemeteries! When I was growing up a very large and old cemetery was up the hill behind my grandparent's house in the small Georgia town of Franklin. My cousin and I spent time reading and talking about the dates, names and inscriptions. I was always surprised to learn not one of the deceased was related to us. So where were our relatives? Now I know they were in the smaller cemeteries all out in Heard and Carroll Counties and beyond. While at Sunday church in the Glenloch Community, my grandfather told me that every person in attendance was related to me one way or another. It made me feel warm and fuzz. I just wish they could have sung a little better!

Elisha Leonard Hyatt
Are you a relative of Elisha Leonard Hyatt? If so, I would like to know your relation so that we can invite you to our Hyatt family reunion next year. We had it this past weekend in Centralhatchee at my aunt's house. If not, will you transfer him to me to maintain as I am his relative and the one that is working on the Hyatt genealogy. Thanks, Denise

William Allen Hyatt, b. Dec. 1837 Heard Co., GA
The children of William Allen Hyatt and Mary Daniel Hyatt are listed incorrectly. The children listed on Find A Grave for William are children of his father, Elisha Hyatt and Eady McWaters Hyatt of Heard Co., GA. I'm surprised no one has pointed this out before?

Lillie Westmoreland Dorough # 20655350
Please link Lillie to her parents, father Ceborne Lenoir Westmoreland #48832554, and mother Elizabeth Ann Jordan Westmoreland #48832547.
Her father's first name is misspelled on his page, and I have sent a message to the owner of his page to make the change from Seaborn to Ceborne.
I am related to these people!
Thanks!

Find a Grave Memorial # 75714347: If possible, can you add parents: Monroe W Yarbrough, FindaGrave Memorial #929557854. Mother is Lou Genia Reed Yarbrough, FindaGrave Memorial #92957905. Centralhatchee Cemetery, Heard County, Ga.

I could not figure out how to add another child to Monroe W Yarbrough. There must be a way.

do you know each person a memorial is set up by you
I'm the mother of Heather & Al Beckom and you set up their memorials. I want to know if you knew them personally. If not, how did you get the information to do memorial? And if you did know one or both, how? Or you get your information from the local newspaper? Its been more than 10 yrs since the accident and I still want to find out more about them. Thank you in advance and i look forward to your reply.
Sincerely, DMBeckom
