In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. I have found this to be a great way to fill in those extra hours I now have in my life as a retired person. |
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

|Müller Zwilling||Ida and Annnie's grandmother|
It would be their grandmother (Friederica Sophia "Rica" Lehmann Zahrndt) you added, not there mother...my mistake
|Müller Zwilling||Ida and Annie Vicker's Mother|
How were you able to add their mother w/o knowing her burial location? They had a brother Edwin Theodore who was my great-grandfather. I know where and when he died, I just can't locate him in a cemetery. I would like to add him and my great grandmother to FindAGrave but it won't let me past putting in a cemetery. Any ideas?
|Müller Zwilling||Sorry I omitted Ida's last name|
Ida Vicker Erbschloe
|Müller Zwilling||Ida Vicker|
Ida had a sister buried in the same cemetery...

Yes, that is fine. I will double check with my dad but I'm faily sure that it is correct. I looked back at my photos of her grave and compared the dates. I would be glad to take it. You have done such good work. Thanks so much. I had wondered if we are related with the amount of work you have put into the family history of the Johns side of my family.
Hi Sandy, I sent you an email and I'm also leaving a public message just in case. Would like to get this memorial transferred to me if you don't mind. I know you've done a lot of hard work and I appreciate it.
|Karen Rudow Daschner||Re: Frank Marion Stonesifer|
I have a conflict of dates of death for Mr. Stonesifer, the stone says July 3, 1920 and your message says July 13, 1920. I'm confused.

The cemetery office said they have no record of Alziro Rowlenson, however, there is one Rowlenson family lot with 6 burials at Linden, Lot 73. They did not tell me who the 6 people were, so it's possible Alziro is buried under another name.
