I live in Fort Worth, Texas but I'm a native of Southeastern Oklahoma.
My family are all Southerners. We started arriving in the Americas in the mid 1600s and always stayed south. As we moved west, we kept our Southern roots. So far, no Yankee in the soup yet.
I'm well traveled (Asia and Europe as well as in the USA) and even lived in Europe for four years (1980s).
I've taught high school in the FWISD of many years and as one of the ways to way to relax I research family.
I have been researching my family for 30 years and only recently discovered Find A Grave. I am delighted with this opportunity to not only find photos of my own family members, but also to help others. Fort Worth is loaded with very old cemeteries that I can explore for people.
Just let me know and I'll do what I can to help others find the markers of your deceased family members.
I'm adding memorials as I can. I'm doing this only so people can find their families. If you want me to transfer a family member's memorial, just let me know and I'll be happy to do so. | |

I also have been trying to get in touch with the lady who has ownership of the Hunter-Cotnam graves on find a grave. Can not get any respond . Did you get in touch with her?
I'm not sure who you are, but guessing maybe Pam as I know her. Elizabeth Hunter Cotnam was my g-g-grandmother, and Martha Jane Cotnam Hogan was my g-grandmother. Would love to hear from you.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, but as it turns out, I had the wrong Laurel Land. She is buried in the Dallas cemetery (same name), so I have removed the Fort Worth memorial page, entered a new one in Dallas, and submitted a new photo request.
