|Hal G. Brown||Hilda Davis|
I've been looking for the grave, but no luck thus far. Are you sure Prof. Davis is buried in the Delaware City Cemetery? I see here memorial service was held in Delaware City. The Congo funeral home in Wilmington was in charge of arrangements and they would know. I will keep looking! -Hal
|Brian Lynch||Photos and your requests|
Greetings! I have just submitted two photos toward your request for Rev.'s Morris and Lennon at Providence College. I also have photos for the remaining headstones in that cemetery, but no bios for those interred. Headstones there are only with initials, last names, and years of birth and death. The Friars likely have other details. I would be happy to submit the pictures if you would like them added.

Hello. I'm the Chair of the History Preservation Committee at St. Thomas UCC (Wenrichs Church). We are the group that maintains the records and stones of Wenrichs Cemetery. It's come to my attention that you have added Anna Margareta Eisenhauer, Johan Peter Eisenhauer, and Johan Hans Nicholaus Eisenhauer to Wenrichs cemetery on Find-a-Grave. If you can provide the source that proves their burial at Wenrichs, we will create a simple marker for each of them and place them near the marker that we created for Johan Jacob Eisenhauer. Currently we have no record that places them in the cemetery. Also, can you give me the source for their family info? I'd like to add that to our records - we maintain genealogies when possible. Kathie Gifford
|GLENDA EISENHOUR||RE: Johan Peter Eisenhauer #153067581|
My apologies for the slow response. Before I get into that, his name was Hans Peter. Johan is the Americanized version and I guess it could be shown as the nickname in order to show both names. Same for his father which was Hans Nicholas.
Back to Hans Peter - His mother was the first wife of Hans Nicholas. They would have been married about 1712. Her name is unknown. (Genealogies of PA Families, Vol. 1, p. 454).
One source indicates Hans Nicholas and his 1st wife also had a son, Johannes Frantz born abt 1713 (age 28 in 1741). He resided in Bethel Twp., Lebanon, PA in 1758. This is the only source that mentions him, so I'm a bit leary of that.
The immigration record gives Hans Peter's age in 1751 as 25, so I believe the 1716 birth would be more accurate.
I have a little more info on the father Hans Nicholas - since I don't know how much you already have I won't go into that in this message.
Let me know what info you need and I'll try to help.

|Brett Tobias||Evelyn Major Bogucki|
Just wondering if you have any further info on Evelyn Major Bogucki. I'm trying to find my grandmother's long lost sister Evelyn Major who was born around 1908. The mother was Mattie Major who was from Pottstown/Tamaqua Pennsylvania. Who the father was is unknown to us. My grandmother apparently had a different father. The sisters were separated in 1920 when their mother Mattie Major died and they never saw or heard from each other again.
