Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have been researching our family tree, off and on, for over 35 years. We discovered Find A Grave and what a wonderful resource! We decided that we wanted to help so Diana became a photo volunteer it is great to be able to get pictures for others. She has now made it a goal to try and get photos for cemeteries in Callahan County, Texas as that is were we live. Please let us know when we make mistakes as sometimes it is hard to read the tombstones. If you find your family we have added and they are not related to us and you want them to be transfer just let us know. Also, you have our permission to use any of our photos for family research.

RE: Waggoner
Thanks so much for your answer! My daddy is from Callahan County, Clyde, Texas. There were 7 Waggoner brothers born to James E Waggoner and Rose Etta Waggoner. It was very interesting to see these gravestones. Thanks so much for taking the photos!

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. D, 112th NY Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Robert Corbett's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

RE: Charles Thomas Leach
Sure, if you don't mind. That family is huge and I have ton's of info and pictures. Some people are so reluctant to transfer, most of the time I just don't ask. Thanks, Beth Mitchell

Ok. Talked with the oldest child. You are absolutely correct!!! His parents just never talked about the child because he was still born. Born and died the same day. Uncle Pete then left and went to WWII and they resumed the family after that - John Wayne, Charles David and Brenda Gail. The name really threw me too. More info: Born and died the same day in El Dorado. I am so glad you found this We may never have known. Thnx Beth Mitchell

Am checking into this. So far no one remembers them having a child that died. Will try to contact their oldest son John to see what he can tell us. Have got to check to see when they married and when Pete left for the Army - WWII. May take me a day or two. If it is true, it's a new wrinkle to me. Beth Mitchell
