Forest Hill Cemetery - Utica - FAG request
You have a request in F A G for a photo of a grave. The memorial site does not include the Plot and/or Lot numbers which would help easily find the graves you want photographed.

If you will call or email the Forest Hill Cemetery and ask for Plot and Lot information, I would be glad to go there and take the photographs for you.

The office number is 315-735-2701 and their email is

Once you have the information, please add it to the person’s F A G memorial site and mark it with a “Photo Request” or email me the burial information at

Please note: If the gravestone is covered in lichen or moss I will attempt to clean them with water and soft soap solution, except for older slate and limestone gravestones. I do not use shaving cream, chalk or abrasives.

Best regards,

Henry J. Bartlett
I just wanted to let you know that I fulfilled your photo request for Henry Bartlett. But I also wanted to let you know that he is NOT buried in the New St. James Cemetery. He is buried in Fairview Cemetery which is right up the street. So you may want to correct that. Have a great day!

Re: Solomon Fisher & Mrs. Fisher
Hi, Cemetery records state that both of your Fisher photo requests are unmarked graves, sorry. I physically searched A-6 & F-7 to confirm. If you would like a list of all burials in A-6 & F-7, just send me your email. Take Care, Chuck Brandon.

Howard Bartlett
I photographed Howard Bartlett's headstone today, but for some reason it turned sideways when I posted it. If you know how to fix it, let me know! Do you have a photo of the Bartlett family monument?

Email me if you want it.

Unfortunately, Howard does not have a marker. I have fulfilled your photo request with photos of the grave site with a yellow flag at the specific grave.

RE: Howard Bartlett

Glad to help. The stone is a little hard to read but if you click on it and enlarge it you can see it clearly. In the caption I put a little info about him if you're interested. (parents, birth date, etc..) I looked it up at the museum here.

RE: John C Henderson
John C. Henderson was 75 when he died, 1936. 1930 was living in AZ with a dau. working in cotton fields, she moved to Reno NV abt that time. 1920 John was in Eastland Texas, his wife had died, Yr.? He still had two kids at home, I think they had 10. It was a couple of daus. who ended up in Sacramento & LA married, so they weren't Henderson. But this was after his death. He lived in Deming NM 1905-1917abt. He could have remarried, maybe that's why he was there. A real mystery.
