I have always loved cemeteries. The stones are beautiful works of art.|
I began working on my family tree a couple of years ago to put an end to the myths that I was raised with. We are 100% German, well... really we are about 50% German and 50% Irish. We were millionaires until Gussie died and she "Willed" all the money to 20 different charities. Well... she did give all the money to charities, but it was around $150,000. Which is a lot of money! So, I have been hooked on genealogy ever since.
The names I am working on are Kramer, Jeschke, Kleinschmidt, Kister/Keister, Pierce, Kelly, Rochford and Smith. All from Clinton County, Iowa.
Coats, Keys, Smith from Randolph Co., Indiana.
McCambridge, Blair, Houck, Gonterman from Macoupin Co., Illinois.
Simpson, Chrisman, Bates and Rogers from Wayne Co., Kentucky.
Linck and Keller from Wheeling, West Virginia.
Please visit my Loved Ones:
If I claim your request the picture is now yours to post on any website, except Find A Grave. If you want a picture on someone else's memorial, put in a request. I spend my time and gas money looking for your request, please let me have the satisfaction of placing the picture on their memorial. Anyone can use my pictures for other websites, just not Find A Grave. Put in a request for Find A Grave and I will claim it. :o)

I never get to go to Missouri an was wondering how many more raines are buried in Nelson Cemetery. My Grandma told me all her relatives were buried there. An thats were she wanted to be buried. If you ever go back there can you maybe write down their names an send them to me. Cause I know nothing about her family an who they were. Or where their from. Maybe if I knew all the raines/rain/rains names I could make a connection. But dont stress or make it a point to go there. Just maybe next time you visit there or something. Thank you@

Thank you so much for adding the tombstone pictures.
It really helps to get confirming or additional information.
It is because of people like you, who go out of your way to assist us, that we are able to link to our family members.
Thanks for all the Babbitt tombstone pictures.

OMG! sorry to hear that.. plz do not worry about going out there any time soon... I am coming in June for at least 4 days maybe more if I can afford it. I know how it is hurting your back.. me and my chiro are on first name basis. Take care of yourself. Hope we can meet in June..Carole
Thank you for the excellent photos of Sarah's marker. There is quite a difference between 2nd and 3rd photos, what do you use to clean the stone, it is effective. It looks like the stone next to her is face down on ground, were you able to determine who it is for? Appreciate your time and talent.

look what Pat McMullen sent me. first I have heard of this.
RE: Lee-Glenn cemetery, Pettis co. MO
You will find that M. Morrison Lee's information is on the side of Elizabeth's. If my memory is correct, Morrison's name and dates are on the north side and Elizabeth's on the west. The stone was loose several years ago. My husband and I did some repair work, need to check it again. You must have records that I do not have concerning Morrison being buried away from here. Is that in his military records?
I placed a new request for photo on his memorail.
sure hope she is right. I was told he was not there and the 2 men did not see his name on any headstone,
