|I live in Colorado Springs and take photos as we travel around the area. |
NOTE: If I add photos to a gravesite that I did not originally contribute, and I have any notes or observances to include, you must CLICK ON THE PHOTO (enlarge the photo) to read them. I will include neighboring grave names if the plot is fenced or has "cement curbs." In some cases, I can check my photo files to see what graves were immediately before and after the specific photo (if I was photographing sites in order). Please contact me if you would like an "original" photo sent to you (not cropped, clearer image).
And please use any photos you wish for your family trees, etc. [no need to credit the photo to me - it's not a work of art or a "one-of-a-kind" shot!] I know most of the photos I contribute will probably never be seen or used, but I'm excited when they are a help to somebody. (let me know if if you found a photo that helped your search!) Most photos are taken "on the fly" - enroute to somewhere - and I can usually only get a few at those times (knowing I may never return to that cemetery), so I hope what I do add is of value to this site. If nothing else, I can preserve some of them visually - as so many are rapidly deteriorating; getting harder to read, as well as decomposing and breaking apart - and some, sadly, have been vandalized or hit by cars and lawnmowers. But I will save what I can!
P.S.: Glad to transfer ownership of ANYONE not related to me! Nothing would make me happier than to adopt out all of my non-relative memorials. I believe this should be an effort to provide information - not compete for the most additions. AND PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ID # with your request. [and use the Edit tab to make a request]
Also, I work 2 jobs and do volunteer work, so if I am slow getting to your link / info requests, hang in there! I will eventually get to them.

Thank you for the transfer of baby Amelia's memorial. It is most appreciated. Her memorial has been updated and linked to her parents who had moved to Topeka.
|Marcia vonGunden||Transfer X 2|
Hello again Joey,
Thank you so very much for transferring both Caroline and Laurence Estey to my care. I have now successfully connected them with family. As more information come my way and time permits I will be adding to OUR memorials
Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
With sincerest regards,
|Dori & Ed Chrisp||Stephen & Mildred (Cass) Beason|
Thank you! Thank You! Thank you!
I really appreciate the transfer of Stephen and Mildred (Cass) Beason to our care. It means a lot to me. Stephen and Mildred Beason were two of my favorite relatives.
Stephen started gathering information in 1963 to write his book "The History of The Beason Family".
Thank you for taking the time to make their memorials and photographing their stones.
Find A Grave is a great site, but only because of people like you.

We all descended from the same individual - so you are right. This family is pretty well documented up to a point. Thanks for the transfers. JMartin.

|Diane Gravlee||Debbie DeHart|
I sent an email in July to link Debbie DeHart to her parents. Did you get it? Debbie's parents are:
Dad: William #41153164
Mom: Hannah # 41153234
Debbie's memorial is # 57365804.
Thanks, Diane Gravlee
|Sam Broyles||Bath Transfer|
Joey, Received your message; I'm not seeing a "request a transfer" button on any of the Bath sites you manage. I would like to have all the Baths buried in the Greenhill cemetery transferred to me Sam Broyles #46548960. Thanks for your cooperation and original effort in posting these relatives of mine.

Thanks so much for this photo. This was my Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother. He owned a funiture store in Leadville. He was also a confectioner.
|Sam Broyles||Dora E. Hagbery Bath|
Would you be so kind as to transfer Dora Hagbery 42760465, Alfred H. Bath 42760003, and Mervin A. Bath 42763083 to my care - Dora was my grandfather's oldest sibling.
