I'm in the (long term!) process of putting together a family tree and finding every document I can. Of course, find-a-grave has been a big help. But many of my family members don't have memorials, so as I collect photos and information, I'm posting it here. I'm particularly interested in using the relationships feature to form a sort of family tree on find-a-grave. I only connect family members whose relationship I can document. So if you've stumbled upon a relative of yours that is plugged into my "tree" I should be able to offer you documentary evidence for the connection. And, hey! we're related! So send me a note and let me know who you are and how we're related. I'm trying to eventually track down and document every descendant of Thomas and Sarah Bradley of Kershaw Co, South Carolina (married around 1815, or perhaps a few years earlier). I also spend my day off most weeks stomping around in all the wonderful old family cemeteries here in Williamson Co, TN. It's amazing how few of the graves are registered here on findagrave.com, so I'm trying to remedy that. In not too many more years, most of these markers will not be legible. So my approach is to transcribe and photograph every marker that has writing in every family cemetery I visit. There are nearly 400 here in Williamson Co, so I suppose I've got plenty of grist for my hobby for a long time to come. I also try to take as many volunteer photos as come my direction. Many thanks for posting the very good picture of the tombstone of Robert Buchanan buried in Williamson County. The location of death and the birth date fit my research info exactly even if the age is not quite the same and I do believe this is my 5th great grandfather's grave. I'm also thrilled to have the GPS coordinates of the cemetery as we're planning an unrelated trip to genealogy trip this time and will be in the area for a very short time in August, this will make finding the cemetery so much easier. Hi,
Well, the family is having "fun" with this. You actually have everything correct i.e. right cemetery. The other site (55357540) has the wrong cemetery. We're trying to find that person to get the correct cemetery listed.
By the way, I for one really appreciate the photo you have on your page. We don't have it on the original page.
I'm waiting to hear from others about this. Will let you know the consensus.
