There is definitely a mystery here. I looked up the address - in 1909 George L. is listed at the same address. Did he inherit the residence from Louise Beach Baum?

|SLGMSD||Louisa Dora Beach Baum|
Find A Grave Memorial# 100877121
The death certificate on familysearch.org states she is widowed.
The Evening Star: Mrs. Louisa Baum
The Evening Star: Louisa D. Baum (nee Beach)
I am not convinced that someone who is widowed with a maiden name of Beach is the same person as the Louisa Baum who is the daughter of George Baum.

Thanks so much for adding the stone for my grandmother to FindaGrave. I was grateful to find I didn't need to do it myself. Your work in doing this is greatly appreciated.

Yes, saw Gladys. Was there a Sturgis in that section? Don't know where C. Virginia Muse Sturgis is buried.

it is one of those annoying things.
doing a search as mcdaniel, found 2 marriage records, same names/dates but one as taking place loudoun county, other as clarke county. maybe one was for license and other is ceremony.
at first i would say same person, on my lucy, 1870 census as mcdonald in warren county, 1880 as mcdaniel in clarke, so marriage rec as born clarke county could be a mistake as from clarke county as she was living there at the time.
but, my lucy parents are william and robert ann, and this marriage record has thos. r and fannie e, so that throws a wrench in the works. looks like somewhere along the way someone linked in the wrong family.
the headache is looping back around, my lucy birthdate matches the gravestone of lucy harrell who married zolisopher, so am not sure if that date was given to her as a result of finding the marriage, or if the marriage was found as a result of having the birthdate...
What a surprise to see my aunts memorial today. I was updating her bio and linking her husbands. I want to thank you for photographing Hope Snead's memorial at Columbia Gardens Cemetery and adding it to the Find a Grave web site. I truly owe you a debt of gratitude for your efforts on this.
Very respectfully, Marie

Thanks for the headstone photo of my aunt, Naomi Gossage and her daughter Mary Gossage Wainwright. I just learned of Mary's death today.
|J.Sullivan||What a cool photo!|
Love the photo you have posted above on your profile page. It is beautiful in so many regards, but seeing it full size revealed the surprise.
