Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began researching families in 1995 when my grandmother, Nancy Louise (Wilson) Myers, passed away. She had been a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, which started these searches, and this information is required for admission. She encouraged all four of her granddaughters to enter and had given each of us copies of her certificate, the application papers, as well as, all the corresponding research. Now, I have become addicted to this little hobby and cannot stop. I do this in her memory, "Family will always be the most important part of your life."
I also dedicate this page, and my genealogy work, to my younger sister, Kimberly Ann Johnson, who passed away April 1, 2003. She was only 45 yrs of age and left two sons, one daughter and husband along with all of her immediate family. We will miss her always.

John Daye Gravesite
Ms. Roberts:
It is a shame that the John Daye grave and the meeting house grounds have been lost to so called progress. I had also thought of contacting the local DAR group about the idea of a roadside memorial for the both. In KY, a roadside memorial can have different text on both sides. It would be possible for one marker to commemorate both John Daye and the Meeting House Burial Grounds. But in KY they cost about $2,500 which must be paid by someone other than the state. I am willing to help a local group raise the money to do that if they take the lead. I am a licensed auctioneer and we could do a fund raising auction if local business owners fell short of making the contributions necessary. It is a process which takes time with both fund raising and state approval but it is a project of actual merit. Please let me know if you take any action on this. And I am assuming that you are probably a DAR member. Is that correct?

Weiner graves
You were kind to go out and find Harry and Annie Weiner's graves in Lincoln Park in 2010...I had the back of the monument translated and I'm wondering if there were flat footstone or pillow stone grave markers for Harry and Annie as the translation does not include their names.

Sarah Elizaberth Crain Nickell
I noticed you left a note at the memorial of Sarah Elizabeth Crain Nickell 1828 - 1902.

I've never found Sarah listed with a middle name, and can you tell me who Sarah Elizabeth Crain Nickell' parents were?

Thank you for any help.

Duplicate memorials?
Dear Ms. Roberts - I have been doing some research on the Fonner family (my mother's maiden name), and in researching graves at Fairfield Cemetery, found two memorials at two different cemeteries which I believe are for the same person.
#76607809 shows Emiline Myers Fonner at Plainfield Cemetery, and 6088485 shows her at Fairfield. I have seen the marker at Fairfield, and I wondered if you could verify which cemetery she is actually buried at? All of your other information jives with mine, so I'm wondering if she had a pre-arranged plot with Mr. Howard at Plainfield, but when he died, and she remarried to Mr. Fonner, if she was then buried at Fairfield.
Your information would certainly be appreciated!

Image of "Uncle Mord"
Please share the original source of the image you've placed on the memorial for Mordecai (1771-1830) - 29860264. There is documented evidence of his son, Mordecai (1808-1867) being called Uncle Mord, both by family and friends.
