Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Indianapolis, IN but was raised in southern Indiana. Cemeteries have been great tools in finding our ancestors. I love the Find A Grave site and have found many missing links here.

I try to take photos of older graves knowing that they are often destroyed by either the elements or sadly, vandalism. As I photograph graves, I always try to remember the life of the person buried there. If I have a memorial to your ancestor, please contact me for a transfer. I'll gladly do that even if they are a distant relative as I know how important each name is in our own family trees.

I live close to Crown Hill cemetery and can take grave photos when I am able to get the time to get out. You can reach me by email at user name jphilgen, the server is

Pearlina Strawn Phillips
I have Edmond Strawn as Pearlina's Father but am having trouble finding her mother as the mother of some of her siblings seems to be Dorcus Morton but the dates do not work for Pearlina. I though maybe Edmond had a first wife and Dorcus is the second.

If you have any information on the Strawn family I would appreciate it so I can correct my records.

Transfer of memorial management
Subject: Transfer of memorial management

Unless you have a close relationship, could you please transfer the following memorials to my management?

Elias Phillips: # 39067265; my 2nd great grandfather
Sarah Jane Weimer Phillips: # 39067283í my 2nd great grandmother

I see that your name in Phillips and live in IN. There was a large migration from Knox County Ohio of Phillips along with Eliasís brother William along with some of his sisters, and aunts and uncles migrated to Porter and Lake IN in the mid 1800ís. Are you a decedent of those Phillips?

James M Phillips - Clark Co. IN
Hi James,

I am researching my great grandfather whose name was James M Phillips. He died in 1941 and is buried in Jeffersonville, IN with my grandmother Marie Smith Phillips.
I am looking for leads to his parents. He was born 1876 in Indiana, possibly around Madison, IN. According to his obituary, he had a surviving brother, John in Madison, IN.

If you have any connections to that family, I would appreciate any information.

Thanks for your great work,
Linda Trinkle

Hi James,

Thank you for transferring management of the above to me.

I have added info, linked family, & did a short bio on each, if you would like to learn a bit more of the people whose memorials you created.

Thank you again

Hi James,

If not part of your family, can you please transfer management of the above to me? George is my 1st cousin 3x & Maye is his wife.

I have done a lot of research on the family & would like to link parents, add bios, & addional data.

I would be happy to let you know when completed so that you could learn a bit about the memorials that you created, if you are interested.

Thank you,
