***EDIT TAB SHOULD BE USED FOR ADDITIONS TO MEMORIALS AND TRANSFER REQUESTS**** requests posted on this page will not be acknowledged
Please send RESOURCES for edit requests that are not easily verified... If I cannot verify it, I will document the information in the bio section of the memorial stating that it was sent and is unverified. I DO THIS BECAUSE I GET ASKED ALL THE TIME WHERE THE INFO COMES FROM!! I DO NOT DO THIS AS ANY FORM OF RIDICULE SO ADDING RIDICULOUS NOTES IN FLOWERS AND SENDING NASTY MESSAGES IS NOT NECESSARY. I simply do this so people will not ask me where the info came from, they already know I didn't find it.
I don't connect to "burial unknown" memorials. According to findagrave guidelines: "Location of body unknown must be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."
from the findagrave FAQs
"Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower."
please send through SAC
I follow Findagrave guidelines for transfers:
Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.
Bulk surname requests must not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred.
The "Suggest a correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above definition. (Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. The original contributor will make any corrections and add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses, provided the information is accurate.

I just wanted to say I'm very sorry for the recent loss of your little angel Alexandria. Such a beautiful child! I hope you don't mind that I've added her to my virtual cemeteries so others may visit and flower her. If this bothers you or any of your family members, please let me know and I will remove her name. My prayers for your family.

|Pamela Griffith Godlewski||Thank you|
I would like to thank you for your quick responses to my info. As I research my family, I have made many additions a lot of them you have in your info. I am grateful for your additions to Find A Grave.

Thanks for the link. As it turns out the Tacy Cemetery and Crossroads Cemetery are on the same property and there are overlaps from one to the other. Still could not find the grave of John Webster Haller so I am guessing his was unmarked as he was a widower at the time of his death
|Madelyn Carroll||RE: Thank you|
My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry you are going through this tremendous pain. Praying for you. Madelyn
|Keith Cunningham||John Webster "Web" Haller|
You created a listing for John Haller indicating he was buried in the Tacy
cemetery. Were you using written data or did you actually see the grave. I stopped there today and was unable to locate the grave.
|John Gavin, FL||RE: Thomas J McGinnis|
As you have not responded to my request for transfer of the memorial (by the preferred method) for Thomas J McGinnis I am again making this public request because he was the CLOSEST LIVING RELATION of my 3 yr. old mother after her mother died.
My grandmother died in 1919, and was the sister of this man's father of the same name. Grandmother and the father, Thomas McGinnis, were the ONLY SURVIVING CHILDREN in this motherless family after diphtheria killed their three siblings in 1880, forcing the family to be divided.
PLEASE TRANSFER this memorial as it means much to my family who will be much better caretakers due to our very important close relationship with Thomas J McGinnis.

Thanks for the death certificate.
I needed it for his tree info. He's my cousin.
Why do you have his death certificate? Are you in the family?
