I have been doing genealogy research since 2003. My profile picture is my grandfather Charles Rieve and his father Charles Rieve. I enjoy going through old cemeteries and newer ones. I have been mainly researching Bennington County, Vermont but do research other areas also. I have some kind of relation to many memorials that I have submitted.|
If you want a memorial transferred to you please use FAG guidelines and the edit link on the far top right of the memorial, that is the only way I will do transfers, direct emails and messages will not be done. INCLUDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR MEMBER NUMBER. Just saying family is not sufficient - many of the memorials I have done are in my "family" also, I need a specific relationship or the transfer will not be done. If you have corrections please use the edit link on the far right of the memorial, with the new edit system, you can't tell me the source of your information. I will be verifying the information you send - I do not use ages on headstones to calculate birth dates, they can and have been incorrect on many occasions. If I can't find a valid record to verify your birthdate edits they will not be done. I verify all corrections before doing them. If you use my pictures on your family tree on Ancestry.oom or another service please state where you got the picture.
I am extensively researching the Hitchcock and Rudd families from Connecticut, Massachusetts & Vermont.

Just a quick note of thanks for the updates!

Thanks Nancy. I created a cenotaph with marker photo. I included the F.A.G. number to the actual burial where the family links are. Jim

There is a memorial at the Factory Point Cemetery in Manchester that you created, and there is a family marker with her name along with her Mother and Stepfather at the New Landgrove Cemetery. There is no death date engraved for her though. Not sure what to do with the photo I took, as it is sort of unclear where she actually is interned. Do you have any suggestions ? Jim
I noticed the info at St James Episcopal Church Cemetery lists the parents of Reuben Beebe as Israel and Hannah Beebe. Records at familysearch.org show his parents as Isaac and Hannah Beebe. I believe that is what is written on the headstone also. Thank you.

You have burial unknown for Memorial# 89385632
there is a duplicate with the burial info below if you want to update your memorial with it. Otherwise the other memorial will be favored because it has burial location. thank you

I have requested a photo of the grave marker for Sarah Jane Mann (Find A Grave Memorial# 67944950). Today I received a message from MEdwords (#46574762) saying Sarah Jane Mann is not buried in West Dover Village Cemetery, West Dover, VT. Since you are the creator of the memorial for Sarah Jane Mann, I hope you can verify her burial in that cemetery. Thank you for all you do to help so many people.

Thank you for the work that you do! I too am very interested in genealogy and much of my family is from Vermont. I recently found a new hint with Agnes Pearl Woods Estelle and it was that you had added her here.
