I have been doing genealogy research since 2003. My profile picture is my grandfather Charles Rieve and his father Charles Rieve. I enjoy going through old cemeteries and newer ones. I have been mainly researching Bennington County, Vermont but do research other areas also. I have some kind of relation to many memorials that I have submitted.|
If you want a memorial transferred to you please use FAG guidelines and the edit link on the far top right of the memorial, that is the only way I will do transfers, direct emails and messages will not be done. INCLUDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR MEMBER NUMBER. Just saying family is not sufficient - many of the memorials I have done are in my "family" also, I need a specific relationship or the transfer will not be done. If you have corrections please use the edit link on the far right of the memorial, with the new edit system, you can't tell me the source of your information. I will be verifying the information you send - I do not use ages on headstones to calculate birth dates, they can and have been incorrect on many occasions. If I can't find a valid record to verify your birthdate edits they will not be done. I verify all corrections before doing them. If you use my pictures on your family tree on Ancestry.oom or another service please state where you got the picture.
I am extensively researching the Hitchcock and Rudd families from Connecticut, Massachusetts & Vermont.

Ruby Tyler is my mother. She was born 05 Jun 1905 in Rupert, Bennington, Vermont. I did an "edit" to her Memorial. I hope it becomes posted.
James (Jim) Tyler
I copied this information from the headstone as it is near a relative of mine. You can contact the cemetery directly and they can confirm it for you.
I did not have my camera with me when I passed through Kingsburg when I got this information, but next time I go through the area I will have to stop and take pictures.

My 5th great grandfather is buried in Maple Hill cemetery, Dorset, Bennington, Vermont. THANK YOU for posting picture of his head stone! You verify that he was Rev. War veteran. Do you have ANY written documentation of his Revolutionary War service? I would like to submit application to S.A.R. in his name proving he is my 5th great grandfather and also proving that he served in the American Revolution. I descend from his son Job also known as Joeb -
Appreciate any help you can provide about his Rev War service.

You are very welcome. I try to sponsor my direct ancestors, who are not already sponsored. It is my way of honoring them. Regards, Linne

Happy New Year, Nancy. Thank you for transferring my Great Uncle Jesse and Great Aunt Teresa Torregrossa. I was not expecting it since I'd only submitted the bio and additional info. I appreciate this very much.
