Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thanks to Find-A-Grave and all the hard work of many volunteers I found the graves of my gg grandparents. Wilson Garrett and Elizabeth Martin.

I have been researching my family almost 20 years....Scott, Stansberry, Garrett, Baker,
Swaim,Martin, and many others and have added many of then to Find-A-Grave and lots that are not related at all.

Let me know if I can help with any of the Memorials that I added. Will be more then happy
to transfer your Family members to you.....

RE: Lucy Bettis
Hey Jerry= I have been looking for it and now don't know where it came from. Wyatt's son is Alford Bettis and a grandson is Alford Lawson Bettis. Makes sense that it was her name but I can't find the paper trail.

I do have the paper for lucy alford born
25 FEB 1736 St. Peters Parish, New Kent, VA daughter of Goodrich Alford and Sarah Cade in parish report. Now just to find how that connects.

I will continue to look as I go. cm

RE: William Webb
She should not delete her William Webb of the Isle of Wright, just the bio and son James Crittenden Webb who is ours.

I sent her our William's estate papers to prove that her bio link is incorrect, but ---

I created memorial 167886771 for 'our' William, but haven't had a moment to enter your two 'flower' notes yet.

I sent Penny a copy of the will abstract for William, and asked her to remove her 'bio' info, and unlink James Crittenden Webb.

After she does would you either remove your flower notes, or put them on my new memorial, and perhaps add a new flower with the note like -- "There are two William Webb's in VA in this era. Please check 167886771 for the other one." Or something similar.

IF you would like to be the manager of my new memorial I will transfer him to you. Grace

Did the creator "Penny" refuse to transfer this William to you, nor appear willing to correct information? In either case, both William's need their own memorial as they are separate men.

I would like to discuss this with you further. GraceSch@Pacbell.net if you are willing.

William Webb
Hello Jerry. I just noticed that you posted some information on a memorial for William Webb, memorial #27541707. I would love to correspond with you regarding information you have on him. I have been trying to prove my lineage to him. Or to a William Webb. I can prove everything from myself to Polly Virginia Webb who married Jacob Lanter in 1787. Jacob Lanter was a Revolutionary War soldier. I am almost positive the line continues back from Polly Webb as follows: John Crittenden Webb b. 1732 d. 1799, his father William b. 1699 d. 1783, then his father William b. 1675 d. 1742. I am not sure who the parents of this William b. 1675 are but I am suspecting James Webb b. 1656 d. 1695 and Elizabeth Goodwin are his parents. Am I on the right track? You seemed to know a lot about William Webb b. 1675 that I thought I would ask you. Also you mentioned a will. Do you have a copy of that will and could I pay you for a copy if you have it? Thank you so much for your time,
Teri
