I just wanted to thank you for your efforts documenting the Lemon Cemetery in Botetourt, Virginia. I'm researching the Lemon side of my family and your work has helped me out.

Other than where she is buried, I have no other info. Sorry.

The index, dated 2012, does not indicate whether there is a marker or not. Clark Cleveland (he is buried near General McPherson) is one I added who died in 1831, so I know they go back at least that far. The cemetery was built around that time. When I added the names to the cemetery, I did so by going backwards from Z to A. I plan to run through the names once again from A to Z to make sure I haven't missed any. I am sure that I have all the McIntosh surnames accounted for.
In Section 3, Lot 579 are: Gertrude, John, Ernest Rose, Harriett Rose, Infant of Jean Louis Rose, and Infant Rose (child of Ernest and Harriett).
There is a Jane Peebles-Persinger buried in Ohio. The place of birth matches but not the date of birth.

no. I upload photos of same family name, if I have the memorial, add caption in Note section; if not it is in caption section on photo, listing all with same surname. yes, a broad assumption they are family, but not necessarily marriage. if she was married to a brother, her last name would be the same. I didn't knowingly submit a spouse link. I only do that with family, or if I have the obit stating the relationship. since it is bourbon co, I can check for you, I volunteer at old fort genealogy library. I can look at marriage records for bourbon co and Vernon co mo where 'most' marriages would take place. but doesn't preclude linn, Crawford co or even another state marriage. but can verify if there was a marriage to both brothers. I'm not researching that family line. but will check tomorrow at the gen. libr.

no idea? did I send an update to this memorial? found it but don't remember sending an update. if I did, it was from the death records which I am transcribing for old fort genealogy library, and matching same info to existing findagrave memorials. it lists household members, but that would only mean she was in that house at the time of death. I sent links only when the death record listed a parent. don't see anything in your messages from me and no bio info added which is format the death record info is being added. was this a message from and/for me?

If you would like a copy of the obit on this posting, please download it now. I have been told I need to remove obit pics as it is against company policy. Thanks ,Chris.

|Joan Viney||RE: Ira Hines|
I'm sorry, but I cannot attach Ira Hines to anyone in his family since I did not make the entry for Ira. As I stated in my original message, submit corrections to the person who made the original entry for Ira Hines.
