I have been taking photographs at cemeteries for a long time - of family members - from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin. Ever so gradually I enter them on Find-A-Grave. I am also compiling a genealogy story of the Olsen family that moved from Denmark to southern Nuckolls County, Nebraska, and also entering information for families of the Longbranch Seventh Day Baptist Church, Nebr. and SDB Church, Nortonville, Kans. |
Once at a cemetery, I photograph as many stones as I have time. Here in KS most are not related to me. If you come across one that you want to manage, let me know and it can be changed.
My family lines include: Burdick, Davis, Williams, Greene, Walker, Carpenter, White, Ownbey, Moffitt, London...
My husband's family lines include: Jorgensen, Olsen, Petersen, Riber, Frederiksen, Jeppesen, Iversen, Nielsen, Waggensen, Klitten, Christensen, Christiansen, and the list goes on.

My pleasure. I wanted to let you know that Albyn's headstone is very damaged. It is worse than it appears in the photo. It is cracked on the right side and they will fix that free of charge, however, the request must come from family or friend. If you call Forest Lawn @ 800-204-2121. As for Glendale Commodities Dept. Tell them the name, Grave location. They will call you back with a report and tell you how long it will take to get a new one. Most likely, from what I saw it will be replaced with a new one. When they call you to let you know it has been placed, please drop me a note and I will personally get a new photo for you. James

Hello, Jean. I have been away from FindaGrave much longer than I had planned. Thank you for the additions to Martha's memorial. However, according to FindaGrave's guidelines, transfers should be made only to lineal descendants within four generations. Martha is your husband's great aunt, and not lineal. Therefore, I will maintain the memorial, but will gladly add any information you would like. Thanks for your patience.

Let me start by saying THANK YOU! Thank you so much for publishing all this wonderful, well sorted family history. My name is Tarrell Fulton, my mother is La Vona (Wade) Fulton whose mother was Adelaide L. Jensen Jacobsen. Its been a great read and I can't wait to share this with my brothers and sister. We now have information going all the way back to Ole Kristensen and Else Marie Pedersdatter Kristensen in Denmark, thank you!

Basically what I did was. Read the FindAGrave memorial and suggested edits on any clues I found there. Adding parents, spouses, etc. I then suggested edits if I could tell from the head stone, that they were husband and wife. Anything I was unsure of, I did not request edits on. Does that help?

I added the flower because I was doing some research in the cemetery. I will remove it.

Thank you for letting me know I had the wrong cemetery. Obviously my sources were wrong. I have entered the correct cemetery for both of them. M.Andersen

You're welcome, and thanks for the message! I added the names using an app on my phone called Phonto. I also have a blank version with no text, if you prefer that.
