Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been taking photographs at cemeteries for a long time - of family members - from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin. Ever so gradually I enter them on Find-A-Grave. I am also compiling a genealogy story of the Olsen family that moved from Denmark to southern Nuckolls County, Nebraska, and also entering information for families of the Longbranch SDB Church, Nebr. and SDB Church, Nortonville, Kans.

Once at a cemetery, I photograph as many stones as I have time. Here in KS most are not related to me. If you come across one that you want to manage, let me know and it can be changed.

My family lines include: Burdick, Davis, Williams, Greene, Walker, Carpenter, White, Owens.
My husband's family lines include: Jorgensen, Olsen, Petersen, Riber, Frederiksen, Jeppesen, Iversen, Nielsen, Waggensen, Klitten, Christensen, Christiansen, and the list goes on.

Jasper McLeod milligan
I submitted an edit to link Jasper Milligan to his parents. His sister, Angelina Milligan Stewart, is buried in the same cemetery as Jasper. Their brother, Andrew Steele Milligan, is my great great grandfather.

Sylvia Kennedy
I think I can say with some confidence that these are not the William and Sylvia Kennedys that you seek.
Sylvia's marriage certificate, unfortunately, does not name her parents. However, the following items documented above cannot be all be true if William is the same person.
Areno Babcock is still single and living with her parents in NE in the 1860 census. Sylvia was born that year in OH. William is listed as single when he married Jane Waterhouse in Ashtabula Co. in 1883. Your WIlliam is married to Areno in the 1885 NE census. William and Jane remained married until death parted them in the 1930's in OH. I was in contact years ago with a descendant of the Jefferson Kennedy family and as far as I know, none of them ever headed west. Hope this all helps.

RE: Chain, William
Jean I had sent a request for info on the grave of William D Chain burried in Texas, supposedly in Trinity texas and you had replied

The records of the Jefferson County Genealogy Society indicate that there are three graves with the name of Chain: William and his wife, Matilda, and five month old, Oscar B. Chain. I will do what I can to locate their graves. I see the baby died in 1888.

Something's not right here: Matilda B. Case Chain was the wife of William Chain. She was born in 1844 and died in 1886; two years before Oscar was born and died. William Chain died in 1896.

Maybe Oscar wasn't Matilda's son, but that of a second wife for William, but he was buried in Nortonville because Matilda was. Then, when Wm. died he was buried there too. All kinds of sceneros. Photos of the graves could be helpful.
